A month before leaving Western NY for a career change, my wife and I saw this show. It's been available on DVD for many years and now the band has put it on YouTube for free.

What a great day.  Always a relaxed atmosphere for the Dead in OP. I do remember Brent's Leslie speakers shooting out colors during Deal. Alas, that's another story.

That would not fly in these times.

Seriously... instead of replying to my question with a 🙄 emoji, why don't you simply answer it?  I honestly don't know what you mean.

Or, are you just being a curmudgeon?

Leaving Buffalo 4th day of July... Sun so hot, clouds so low , eagles filled the sky.

Trouble ahead, Jerry in red. Wasn't that just before he slipped into a diabetic coma?

For me pick any show from 1977.

Great year for rocking Dead. I tend to just listen to shows from the 60’s and 70’s myself. There’s good stuff later, but the set lists are lacking in comparison, newer material just isn’t up to snuff IMO.

I was also at that show in 86 & then the 2 shows at RFK the 6th and the 7th…. more for Dylan & the Heartbreakers than the Dead. Buffalo was hot, but RFK was an inferno, and with GA, you really couldn’t leave your spot.
