If it does end up bigger I would add Ryan Bates and Darryl Johnson, both young and not much $. Morse as our primary Center concerns me with his age/injury history and concussions, one thing Bates has O Line versatility. I always liked the upside to Daryl Johnson, was very "raw" coming it of North Carolina A&T but has great length. We are going to loose a good or potentially good D Lineman this year.

WR is tough to pick. Your assumes Marquez Stevenson, Duke Williams, Kumerow lose out to Hodgins, McK. OL - Douglas, Lamp, Hart all cut. Another battle here and possible trade of one of them or someone on your list. DL - Zimmer cut and Johnson cut. Will be interesting. DB - Still think they bring in another CB and then someone on that list has to go. 1
ghostwriter Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 I can’t complain really. I may switch Hodgins out for Stevenson, but then again, will Cole even play this year? Regardless, we have other playmakers we can get the ball to.
H2o Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 (edited) I think Anderson/Lamp makes it over Bates/Boettger. I think they keep Zimmer over Obada. Or, don't be surprised if Addison ends up being cut if some of the younger guys show themselves to be more than capable throughout TC and Preseason. I also won't be surprised if they choose to stash Wildgoose on the PS. Edit: And I believe Stevenson makes it over Hodgins if only for ST ability alone. Hodgins will be stashed on the PS. Duke didn't do much last year and we've added guys who fill a role he doesn't (see play STs and WR) so think he could as gone. I agree with the O-line that Hart and Lamp are tough cuts. Zimmer was our 2nd best DT last year I think he a really tough cut. A veteran CB be nice to add to the mix not named Richard Sherman.

We are overcrowded at the Dline position and I predict the following happens: 1) Either Addison or Hughes will be released or traded before the start of the regular season 2) Harrison Phillips will also not be on the final roster and I could see this team making a veteran addition at DT in the coming months.

Chandler#81 Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 I agree completely, Hap. Honestly don’t see a substitute for any of the choices. So let’s just blow off training camp and preseason to save on injuries. The roster has been set! 😉 1
Simon Says Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 3 Special Teamers missing; Johnson, Gilliam and Johnson. I don't think Doyle beats out all 3 veterans (Lamp, Hart and Douglas). Don't assume McKenzie returns punts AND kickoffs. Still looking for a TE? Ertz?
