PROVES you are wrong that most people do not think he will regress. IF you had said some think he will aggress then I understand. Now you call us sensitive cause your proven wrong and you continue to act like gods gift that it is FACTUAL that he regresses. I care what you expect that's on you and you have every right to your opinion. But Don't act like its factual "like it or not" your way or the high way attitude around here and then draw us into it like you thought everyone else agrees with you.. then you call us sensitive... Sorry we love Josh.. Sorry we think he will improve. Your word isnt the final word. stop acting it. The word regress scares people. People don't like those words. Read the comments.

Buffalo716 Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 Even if his stats aren't as good as last year it doesn't imply regression We might have a better running game.. be killing clock in the fourth quarter.. defense might give us more turnovers and we might be on shorter fields Stats is far from the only thing that implies whether quarterbacks are progressing or regressing The Chances that Josh actually regresses as a pure quarterback, are slim.. he should take another step mentally which will undoubtedly help 1

Go find me all the QB's with back to back 40+ TD seasons. Another thing is you should expect the Bills offense to regress some also. You said regress…….having lesser stats doesn’t necessarily mean regression. Those that think lesser stats = regression 💯 of the time don’t know what they’re talking about 1 1
nedboy7 Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 Here is PFF on the front office. Just read it and enjoy..... No general manager has done a better job of getting ahead of negotiating new contracts for top players quite like the Bills’ Brandon Beane, and the benefits of his diligent work will only be realized over the next few years. The Bills boast a roster that ranks third in our valuation of the veterans, and many of the top players are signed to multi-year deals already. Nevertheless, after sending a first-round pick to the Minnesota Vikings for wide receiver Stefon Diggs, a massive extension for him and quarterback Josh Allen loom in the not-so-distant future.

Heyward, Robinson, Ramsey, Smith and Johnson are a bit overrated by PFF. Also, pretty boy Brady is being ranked as a top 10 player based on past achievements - that SB was all because of their defense, which carried them.
HereComesTheReignAgain Posted June 24, 2021 Posted June 24, 2021 Haha. 8 WRs ranked ahead of Diggs. Another PFF gem.

Justin Simmons, a Safety for the Denver Broncos is the 23rd best player in the NFL? I'm guessing half of NFL Fans have no idea who he is, what he looks like, and who he plays for.

Regarding this thread that we’re discussing: I don’t think pff has Bryce Callahan rated higher than allen based on his projected stats. regarding this forum in general: maybe some here feel it’s all about stats. I feel that stats are overrated and prefer to judge a player based on what I’m watching. I had a 2 year long debate with 6 co workers who told me that Kyle Kuzma is just as good as Jayson Tatum after their respective rookie years and into throughout their 2nd season. I told them, just watch them play. They aren’t even in the same realm of ability. I’m going to judge Josh Allen based on what I see. You can judge him on stats. 1 1

Speaking of regression, it's been statistical regression. PFF obviously expects more than a statistical regression.
