They've done the math. 716 is a disaster and not making them money - not thru their own fault Covid has put the nail in the coffin but its impossible to profit in the city unless the rent has been paid. The Sabres will continue to operate at the levels of spending you've seen. But I think the only thing keeping them in Buffalo is they are Terry's love. But the family will sell them eventually. The Bills are fine because the NFL can print money.

Projects and rent control devalue property. Property value drops reduce tax base. Tax increases come next, and it’s not going to come from the unemployed living in free housing. My advise is get out while you still can. 2
