I get both sides of it.  He has every right to not get the shot.

Deciding not to get vaccinated is not the issue here

He is publicly stating that he will be completely disregarding covid protocols. Meaning he will likely be spending the whole season getting fined/suspended, while being a huge distraction to the team.

I don't see any reason to keep him if that's the case, and I can't see the Bills having any issues.

If you don't want to spend 5 minutes getting a vaccine, follow protocols. If you refuse to follow protocols then get lost.

You just know the minute we cut him, he goes to NE and Belichick publicly vaccinates an enlightened Cole!

Plus he's throwing the leadership (JOSH ALLEN!) and team under the bus by continuing to talk about it outside of the locker room

Got to respect a man who speaks his mind and stands by his principals. Good for Cole.

Then you have to follow the protocols to protect you and your teammates and the staff at the facility. There really isn't a both sides to this situation. Players are not mandated to get the vaccine but if they choose not to they will have to undergo a more strict process in regards to distancing and daily testing. Seems like a fair way to keep the players choices intact but also protect them. If Cole is a baby and wants it both ways that's on him. I love Cole but he has to realize he has three choices. Get a vaccine, continue the protocols or retire. If the protocols designed to keep him and his teammates safe are too much for him then he has the right to retire.

And Cam Newton throws it 6 feet over Cole's head into the arms of Jordan Poyer, who might have the same opinion as Cole, but is mature enough to respect the team leaders who want it kept in the locker room.

Why should anyone go along with the BS rules anymore?

If people had any self-respect at all they would simply stop complying with this crap.

That's completely beside the point. Let's not turn this into a vaccination vs. anti-vaccination debate.

The point is - the NFL has the rules in place where you follow them or you're fined and suspended. Cole has stated he will habitually not follow the rules. Ergo - one of our best players WILL be suspended regularly and may retire.

If the rules change, then that's a different story. But as they are, this is a problem.

Isn't more than 50 % of the team unvaccinated?

Where are the rest of the players to back him up on this?

Respecting the leaders of the team who said it would be kept in the locker room.

This ain't hard. Cole went rogue

The Westboro Baptist Church speaks their minds and stands by their principals do you have to respect them? If your principals are garbage you standing by them makes no difference to the merit of your argument. To clarify not necessarily saying that Cole's principals (which are dubious) are equivalent to the WBC but rather just standing by something add no value to it.

At last report , the Bills were one of the teams over 50% and climbing every day. Only a handful of teams are under that 50% mark (Jags, Colts, Chargers)

He said STANDS for principals. That's why he doesnt have a problem with this.

If the league has chosen to continue with the protocols this year, then the voluntary "opt-out" option should continue, as well. If Cole isn't comfortable with this situation, he can sit out the year, same rules as last year.

But let's get one thing straight. He doesn't get a Super Bowl ring.

They may actually provide an opt out option this year. It’s still on the table

but based on beasely’s comments he wants to play. He’s fighting for looser restrictions on those who choose not to get the vaccine. He believes the line that was drawn is too hard.

Lmao. You don't automatically get respect for speaking your mind. You don't get respect when what's on your mind is complete nonsense, and you are acting like a clown, like Cole is.

How long until the unvaccinated can be as normal with teams? Surely that will last more than a year?
