Huh? What does that have to do with a SB in Buffalo?

Has to do with my post on WHY I brought up the Superbowl.  That the League would likely want this stadium closer to AVG which is 65K.  and I would not move off my plans without a SB if I was the owners.  That is why

I have no aspirations for a SB in Buffalo, That was never going to happen the minute it was moved from Down Town, and that still was a long shot

Without trying to speak for @MAJBobbybut doing so anyway - The original idea was the NFL was going to force the Bills to increase capacity to 65,000.

@MAJBobbythen ssid if the NFL is going to dictate capacity- then you only agree with a Super Bowl guarantee.

Therefore - as we know - No Super Bowl to Buffalo - the Bills should not then change capacity for the NFL.

They don’t necessarily go together - they just came together as part of the discussion.

Sounds alot like the new Tottenham stadium to me...62k seats and a 1 Billion price tag with the open air overhang roof. Sounds good to me

I would hate the shadows across the field.  I'd also think it would affect the passing game.

There are plenty of stadiums with this ‘problem’. It’s pretty hard to avoid with a roof, whether partial or not. I was amazed in Minneapolis, there were shadows all over that field during the Bills visit. I’ve never heard the players complain. It’s more of a problem for television because the cameras can’t adjust as well as your eyes do.

So in that scenario, the people closest to the field, are the ones most likely to get wet? 😂

I don't think you need 60,000 seats on an open air stadium in WNY today or in the future.

I'd rather the money be spent on less seats, more first class amenities. Does the NFL of the 2030s need that many seats, or would you rather more space for things like sportsbook restaurants, and entertainment?  Do you need that many seats to host an outdoor NHL game?

I know that gets away from the purity of football and the Bills, and I don't like writing it personally, but creating big outdoor stadiums in cold weather cities seems out of date.
