To clear up any confusion as to what Special Counsel Jack Smith sought to conceal in classified documents case, this is what Smith told Judge Cannon in Feb 2024 in response to Trump's motion to compel discovery from numerous govt agencies:

1) Defendants are not entitled to discovery of internal government correspondence and memoranda, or to documents that are otherwise privileged.

2) The Court Should Deny Defendants’ Requests for Evidence of 'Improper Coordination with NARA' and of 'Bias and Investigative Misconduct.'

3) The Court Should Deny Defendants’ Requests for Evidence Related to Trump’s Security Clearance With The Department of Energy.

4) The Court Should Deny Defendants’ Requests for Evidence Related to Secure Facilities at President Trump’s Residences.

5) The Court Should Deny Defendants’ Requests for Production of Materials Concerning the Search of Mar-a-Lago.

AND FINALLY:

6) Defendants’ Request for Unredacted Discovery of Materials Should Be Denied

Joe Biden and the Wawa Cannibals—An American Tragedy.

“One of the most galling results of the mainstream media’s dereliction of duty is that every syllable that Donald Trump utters is fact-checked seven or eight thousand times, while Biden is given carte blanche to keep repeating stories that are truth-free garbage.

They don’t even call him on his oft-recited lie that his son Beau was a casualty of war. This isn’t merely an elderly man’s confusion about a date or a place; either he’s so addled that he truly doesn’t remember where and how his son died, or he knows he’s deliberately lying.”

.

In the case of his son, and his family tragedy in the past, I want to give him the benefit of the doubt.  The guy has seen tragedy befall his family on multiple occasions.  Still, he seems awfully quick to leverage the tragedy in political situations, and that goes back decades.  When he got to the point of comparing his middle-aged son’s death in hospice, with the gruesome deaths of young American soldiers on his watch, to the families of the soldiers, it’s hard to give him a pass.

It’s amazing to have to say this in 2024, but people can look past a fabricated story about your uncle being eaten by cannibals, but there should be some basic human decency applied when meeting with the families of soldiers lost in combat.

Ya Don't Hate 'em Enough: Media Hypes Poll Showing 'High Disapproval' for DeSantis, But There's a Problem

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has been running full steam ahead in the aftermath of ending his 2024 presidential campaign, not allowing the disappointment to deter him from getting things done in and for the Sunshine State.

He's scored important victories against Disney as well as the plaintiffs in the Florida Parental Rights in Education Act case, has taken action against so-called "squatters' rights" and retail theft, signed five laws cracking down on sexual predators, and recently put his signature on a law that calls for teaching the atrocities of Communism to elementary school students.

Throughout it all, DeSantis has (predictably) still been subjected to one failed media hit piece after another, with the Palm Beach Post embarrassingly stealth-editing one anti-DeSantis column in early April and NBC News hearing about it over a "migration" hit piece that fell flat.

The mainstream media are, of course, still at it, with the latest example coming from Florida-based news outlets who are hyping a new Morning Consult poll that they say shows Gov. DeSantis with "one of the highest disapproval ratings for governors."

It's not until you click the link and read beyond the headline that you find out that the poll was a national poll, not a state poll:

And it wasn't until the last line in the piece that they pointed out his approval ratings among Republicans nationally are rock solid:
