Still Don't Think Media Bias Is Real?

FTA:

But the media has so heavily emphasized the Court’s three liberals’ remarks that the majority went too far, they practically ignore the fact that it was a 9-0 decision.

It’s like they’re trying to spin the unanimous ruling as a defeat for Trump! But that doesn’t surprise me. The media has long abandoned any pretense of objectivity.

Today’s journalism is all about advocacy, not facts. There’s certainly a place for advocacy; that’s what Op-Eds are for. But basic reporting should try to be as objective as possible.

The simple fact is most mainstream journalists want nothing more than ensuring that Trump doesn’t win the election.

When the Republican talking points turn away from the content and delivery of the speech to the meta-analysis ("Look at how the liberal media is framing their own talking points"), you know they understand that the speech went well.

Where's all their "Katie Britt is a rising star" tweets this morning?

She just Bobby Jindaled herself into irrelevance.

To put it more succinctly, had Donald Trump given that speech, it would have been reported as the darkest, angriest, most improper State of the Union in history.

It wouldn't be described as "fiery."

It'd be described as a threat to the very foundation of the nation.

Biden delivered it, though, so it's all fine. Everything is fine. Don't believe your lying eyes.

The MSM is just happy he was able to get through it, of sorts.

Just when you think members of the press can't sink any lower, they manage to outdo themselves. It doesn't matter who Mace decides to support for president. Her being raped is not relevant, and to bring it up to try to score political points is incredibly unprofessional. There are some topics you don't touch, and that's one of them. That is Mace's story to tell if she so chooses. A clown like Stephanopoulos has no right to hijack it.

Exactly as I stated.

Biden's SOTU Not the Win the Media Thought It Was

SALENA ZITO

FTA:

However, in sitting with several voters whose presidential choices have been all over the place for the past 20 years, with some of them jumping from George W. Bush to Obama to Trump to Biden, the president’s comportment did not come off as strength.

Instead, many of them felt they were being yelled at.

Intellectually, they all understood why Biden needed to project vigor. They also all agreed that vigor and yelling are not the same thing.

These suburban Philadelphia voters say former President Donald Trump’s comportment is a bridge too far for them, but they also don’t care much for Biden either. Where their votes go, they have no idea, but if you are a Democratic strategist sitting at home and thought Biden’s performance shored up this voting bloc, you might want to go back to the drawing board.
