B-Man Posted March 15 Posted March 15 They Really Don’t Get It This is a headline in today’s New York Times: What’s funny is, they think that is a bad thing. Whereas the rest of us are saying, “Great! Now do the Department of Justice.” https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2025/03/they-really-dont-get-it.php 1
B-Man Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Most of the media I've seen so far appears to be fairly neutral. But there was a truly ugly headline from Mediaite. "SpaceX Rocket Makes It to Space Without Exploding," it says. They just can't help themselves. Are they so vile, that they put that out there like that? They can't focus on the rescue or the great achievements that SpaceX has made. They lumped the launches of Starship with the Falcon-9, But Falcon-9 ,the rocket used here in this launch, is considered safe and highly reliable. It's the more experimental non-manned Starship that has had prior issues. They had a problem in January, where the rocket blew up. But the "chopsticks" still caught the first stage that had separated, in an amazing move. Does the media not care that there's a difference? And in any event, they shouldn't be making this disgusting take with a manned launch. Just an ugly, sick headline right in the middle of something very bold on behalf of the country. https://redstate.com/nick-arama/2025/03/15/amazing-visuals-as-spacex-launches-mission-to-bring-stranded-astronauts-home-media-reaction-n2186693 1
B-Man Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Perhaps "coerced" would be a better word than "misled". It's doubtful that the press actually believed that COVID accidentally originated outside of the lab creating such viruses... https://x.com/TimConradB623/status/1901270207932268658? This serves as a stark reminder that government uses censorship in order to hide its own misdeeds; free speech is necessary to hold the government accountable. B-Man Posted March 17 Posted March 17 I was beginning to think that people hated the press enough, but I was wrong, and for that, I apologize. Truly, there is no bottom to what "journalists" will say to slap President Donald Trump, and this latest example might be the worst I've ever seen. I say that knowing that within days, the bar will no doubt be lowered further, but bear with me. The source here is The Daily Beast, one of the worst mainstream press outlets in existence, and this story delivers on that reputation. According to Erkki Forster, who also covers the "LGBTQ+ community" (because, of course, he does), Trump once "offered a female congresswoman his bed, as long as she kept it a secret from his wife." That "revelation," as the sub-headline proclaims it, comes from a new book written by Axios reporter Alex Isenstadt. Now, if you were to only read the headline, you'd think this was pretty bad, right? Trump, having been quite the philanderer in his younger days, must have recently tried to have an affair with a female congresswoman while urging her not to let his wife know. This could blow up into a big thing, right? Well, you'd think that until you actually read the story. Donald Trump once offered a MAGA newcomer his bed while she was feeling unwell, but told her to keep it a secret from Melania, according to a new bombshell book. The president made the offer aboard his personal jet in 2023, when Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna, 35, was pregnant. “If you need a bed to lay down in, there’s one here on the plane. If you feel sick and you need to lay there, you can lay on it,” Trump reportedly told Luna. “Just don’t tell Melania. She doesn’t like other women on my bed,” he joked. The comments, revealed in Axios reporter Alex Isenstadt’s new book Revenge: The Inside Story of Trump’s Return to Power, cast new light on the president’s eyebrow-raising marriage to Melania Trump. Yes, your eyes do not deceive you. The big scandal here is that Trump once offered Rep. Anna Paulina Luna the chance to lay down on Air Force One because she was pregnant and not feeling well. A major press outlet using another major press outlet as a source decided to run that headline despite the actual story being that Trump is nice and tries to help people. That's a level of shamelessness most hacks can only dream of. Truly, next-level stuff from Forster, who I'm assured is a journalist. What's even worse is that Paulina Luna's husband was on the flight and fully aware of the completely mundane offer. She explained what happened in a scathing post. https://redstate.com/bonchie/2025/03/17/press-claims-trump-offered-his-bed-to-maga-star-and-you-truly-dont-hate-the-press-enough-n2186773 1
B-Man Posted March 18 Posted March 18 You CAN'T get away with this any longer ! It was purposeful. Associated Press Printed a Lie About Trump, Gabbard, and Putin David Strom What is the Narrative™ about Trump and Putin? What is the Narrative™ about Tulsi Gabbard and Putin? We all know. For a decade, the media has told us that Trump is a Putin asset. A Putin puppet. An apologist for Vlad the Mad Putin, and he picked Tulsi Gabbard because he wanted a reliable anti-American ally to sell out our country to Putin. https://hotair.com/david-strom/2025/03/18/associated-press-printed-a-lie-about-trump-gabbard-and-putin-n3800892
Orlando Buffalo Posted March 19 Posted March 19 https://www.newsweek.com/end-south-florida-dream-2039443 Reading this article you would think that the politicians are profiting from the law, while it truly is meant to help people. 98 people died due to the delayed maintenance of Surfside. One item to mention is that Surfside was illegally behind of repairs but the state did not do inspections, all that has changed is they are verifying the financial and structural status of the buildings are up to code.
