Yeah, it was a fleeting moment of adrenaline. Then you realize theres 3 to 5 guys who don't separate themselves at all from the others. Very blah. But I appreciated the 3 minutes of drama there!

Probably will be Power (even though he's a LHD like Dahlin), Beniers (center) is a close 2nd, followed by Eklund (LW), Hughes (D) and Clarke (D). If we trade Eichel I could see us drafting Beniers.

And unfortunately in this draft there is no elite talent at #1. 

 

Its likely dman Owen Power but many don't view him as an elite prospect

I think they'll take Beniers regardless...I really, really like that kids energy on the ice. 

 

And I think they should...IMHO it's almost a no-brainer. But even more so if Jack and/or Sam is traded...

Just listened to Kevyn Adams national presser about winning the draft lottery on WGR.....

 

.....saying he was a yawn would be a compliment. This guy doesn't inspire.

 

Wonder if he got the GM job because he was the only one who applied?
