Awesome. I was waiting for @Kemp to respond but you’ll do.  See, I read the actual opinion first someplace else but didn’t use the source because it requires a subscription. Is this source better for you?

Not really.  I don't know a damn thing about CRT, and frankly I don't care about it at all.

But if I wanted to learn about it, I wouldn't go to a opinion piece written by two guys that absolutely, completely, hate CRT.  There is no chance in hell of me getting any useful information out of somebody with that strong of an agenda.

So the 100 hours of CRT they watched and what they heard and saw and reported on means nothing to you?

And they absolutely, completely hate CRT?   I missed that part in the piece.  Can you quote that for me?

Definitely not true. Look at ABC, CBS, and NBC news networks plus CNN.

Arguing about the accuracy of something while admitting you "don't know a damn thing" is all I need to know that you are a democrat

Banning Critical Race Theory Isn’t Working

c3c1176c-f502-4406-b3a9-ec8992232588-450

FTA:

Banning it won't work because they will just teach it under a different name.

It turns out I was right.

A recent report reveals that teachers in various school districts have continued infusing these ideas into their teaching. They have simply repackaged it to give the appearance that they are complying with the law.

Accuracy in Media (AIM), a watchdog group, conducted a series of undercover interviews with school district officials in red states to gauge the efficacy of anti-CRT laws. The results were telling.

Melissa Langan, principal of Van Buren Elementary School and chief academic officer of the Caldwell School District in western Idaho, told Adam Guillette of AIM that her district subverted the state’s law banning CRT by renaming parts of the curriculum.

Langan explained that since schools in her district can no longer use “social-emotional learning,” which has been used as a covert vehicle through which to present far-left ideas in classrooms, they simply gave it another moniker: “Behavior adaptations.”

“I just went to a superintendent’s meeting last week and the district was intending to switch out social-emotional learning to ‘behavior adaptations.’ Changed the label, same stuff,” she said in the video. “And I thought, it’s kind of a bummer they have to do that, but at the time I thought it was kind of brilliant. Because they don’t care about this even though it’s the same as this. But it’s the label. So, I thought it was brilliant on their part.”

University's 'Antiracism' Posters Teach Students to View Each Other by Race

by Alex Parker

College — it’s a place of guidance. And for those attending California State University, Fullerton, a plastered poster is lighting the way.If you’ve not been categorizing people by identity groups, the school makes clear you’ve missed the mark.On social media, student Noelle Fitchett recently revealed a sign allegedly hanging in her chemistry lab. “CHEMISTRY LAB,” she repeated in all caps.(Tweet) The poster hails an enhancement of “equitable learning,” which involves CSUF’s “particular” racial “emphasis”: Create a campus community that is committed to the achievement of equitable outcomes for all students, with particular emphasis on assessing and incentivizing the closure of opportunity gaps for students from historically racially marginalized groups.

The 'communities' directly surrounding the Cal State Fullerton campus is about 99% hispanic students.  Are those the marginalized students they're talking about? If so...it must be a really wide margin!

"Ban" is incorrect, they were discontinued for being defective mathematic books.

Florida bans 54 of its school math textbooks for 'trying to indoctrinate students': Half of the prohibited titles feature Critical Race Theory

The Florida Department of Education rejected 54 math textbooks from its curriculum on Friday, saying the books were an attempt to 'indoctrinate' students - with more than half of them banned for referencing Critical Race Theory (CRT).

The agency tossed out 41 percent of the 132 math textbooks submitted for next year's curriculum because they were not 'aligned with Florida standards or included prohibited topics and unsolicited strategies,' the DOE said in a statement on Friday.

'Reasons for rejecting textbooks included references to Critical Race Theory (CRT), inclusions of Common Core, and the unsolicited addition of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in mathematics,' the department added, noting that all three learning practices are banned in the state.

'The highest number of books rejected were for grade levels K-5, where an alarming 71 percent were not appropriately aligned with Florida standards or included prohibited topics and unsolicited strategies.'

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis had banned CRT as a component in Florida schools, claiming it promotes hatred among students and makes individuals feel guilty for racism of the past.

'It seems that some publishers attempted to slap a coat of paint on an old house built on the foundation of Common Core, and indoctrinating concepts like race essentialism, especially, bizarrely, for elementary school students,' he said of the rejected books.

'I'm grateful that Commissioner [of Education Richard] Corcoran and his team at the Department have conducted such a thorough vetting of these textbooks to ensure they comply with the law.' submit the textbooks last year.

The DOE added, 'It is unfortunate that several publishers, especially at the elementary school grade levels, have ignored this clear communication and have attempted to slip rebranded instructional materials based on Common Core Standards into Florida's classrooms

Huh? The Florida bill isn’t about hating anyone. It simply states that public school teachers shouldn’t be discussing sexual attraction by anyone for anyone and to anyone with kids under eight years old. That’s it. Nothing more. Sounds darn reasonable to me. If you as a parent want to discuss earlier than eight…go for it!
