He has a 3/4 delivery like Phillip Rivers but he throws such a crisp ball it doesn't matter

He has top pick written over him

According to the analysts who have watched him live, his arm strength is pretty rare for a high schooler. Effortless like he’s throwing a baseball. It’s kind of infuriating actually watching the sheer nonchalance of his throws. Weird that he throws from his hip but is insanely accurate

Nah, I'm having nothing to do with ugly QB's.

Although I'm more conflicted over the mullet than I was about Trevor Lawrence looking like he's 70% horse.

Peyton , and Eli look like like they are about 50% horse. The mane has never came

Too bad he's going to Ohio State, he could have been something in the NFL someday.  Tragic.

It's hard to make much of these HS highlight films.  He's almost never pressured and these HS secondaries are awful.  Lots of moon balls to wide open WRS.

No need to rely on the highlights in his hair or on film. He’s  only the 6th Player in the history of modern recruiting ratings which go back to 1999 to have a perfect overall composite star rating score of 1.000, and is considered the best QB recruit  since Trevor Lawrence.

My comment was based on the clips you linked.  I think my description was fair re: what’s shown in them.

It begs the question:  if he’s that good a prospect, why on earth would he commit to Ohio State?  That’s where NFL QB dreams go to die. Maybe he will be the next Braxton Miller or Terrel Pryor—2 recent 5 stars.

Why isn’t he headed to the SEC?

To be fair Justin fields did have more hype than ewers

In fact ESPN had fields as the #1 player over Lawrence
