Ramius Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 why dont we make every poster take the wonderlic test and then post it next to your name/avatar...would definitely make things interesting... I'd say also put in an ignore filter based on score, but setting it at <20 would probably eliminate 3/4ths of the board...

Lori Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 What's the down side? 319926 C.T.M., you remain one of my favorite posters.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 C.T.M., you remain one of my favorite posters. 319983 Big fan of pencilnecks, are ya?

Kelly the Dog Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 AKC and I were discussing that this weekend. Have everyone take the test. Someone has to be able to get an official copy. Unfortunately, how would you monitor it? We certainly cannot trust each other. Someone would have to set up a part of a site where you sign in, take the test online and your score will be documented. Surely, when some posters saw their scores and it was a public admission, we would lose about 75% of our know-it-alls, I mean posters, including perhaps me. I know, I know, we can only hope.
Surfmeister Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I got an 8 out of 9. They say it equals a 44. But I would still get creamed on the football field.

eball Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 why do i have the feeling this would be similar to the "how do you shoot in golf?" thread from last week? TSW would be full of scratch-golfing geniuses.

Alaska Darin Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I'd gladly take it. Anytime, anywhere. Just pay my expenses.
Sound_n_Fury Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 Unfortunately, how would you monitor it? 319996 How about making it part of the registration process, with a built-in time limit function, just like the real thing!
TheMadCap Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 HA! I think this is a great idear. Who will we nominate to administor the test???
Tux of Borg Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 I'll take it later on. After taking calc and a level 300 accounting class back to back, the last thing i want to do tonight is work my brain.

They do offer an online version, but I had forgotten to ask about it.

MartyBall4Buffalo Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 To Be fair we should be allowed to take it twice, Once this year and once again next year, and those with more posts aka our "higher touted posters" should receive copies of the questions and answers before taking the test a 2nd time next year. This is the only fair way as I'm pretty sure that's how they do it in the nfl
