Augie Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 (edited) Wow.....I remember seeing The Heartbreak Kid when I was young. I have even thought of it recently but wasn’t sure of the title and had no idea that it was Charles Grodin. (In my mind I thought it might have been Dustin Hoffman?) I need to watch that again soon. He will long be remembered for some of the great work he left behind. RIP. . Edited May 18, 2021 by Augie Quote
The Jokeman Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 I remember him from the Seems Like Old Times, Lady in Red and Beethoven. I'm sure he was in others but those ones stick out the most, RIP. Quote
Patience Posted May 18, 2021 Posted May 18, 2021 Beethoven was probably my favorite movie growing up. RIP. Quote

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 One of my favorite random movies stars Groden. It’s called “Clifford” and stars Martin Short as a 10-year old kid. I don’t know why, but I just find it to be hilarious. 2 Quote
LewPort71 Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 My favorite Charles Grodin role was in "Heaven Can Wait" With Warren Beatty. rip 1 Quote

davefan66 Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 Understated actor. Dry humor. Great in Midnight Run. 1 Quote
wnyguy Posted May 19, 2021 Posted May 19, 2021 I was always kinda meh on Grodin until Midnight Run. His deadpan style was perfect for that role. Quote
