The CCP was so committed to finding the source of COVID at the place identified as a potential origination point of the virus, that they demolished and plowed under the Wuhan food market and killed and incinerated all the animals at the market.  At the time the people running this stellar investigation didn't think of looking down the street to notice a biological research facility.  In the world of cover-ups, this is whats called a thorough scientific and forensic investigation.  But please don't criticize or question anything or anyone, least you get called a conspiracy nut.  Or the new catch phase for anyone questioning incompetent and unethical officials, a terrorist inciting violence.

Curiously NIH funding of the lab generated massive conflicts of interest with Fauci and other officials domestically and worldwide who spent half their time covering up and deflecting their association and complicity and the other half misdirecting COVID policy.  As for Fauci, he managed this juggling act while remaining the darling of lock down and government mandate enthusiasts.  Quite a performance by the good doctor.  So now he's leaving before any House committee that will be called by the expected new majority drags his old ass through the streets.  I understand he intends to leave no forwarding address with his former employer.

only a sycophantic moron would get behind this guy.

It’s ironic how the same people who pretend to admonish Putins Russia are supporting as useful idiots the same corrupt centrally all powerful government and oligarch elite society in the us.

Good riddance to Fauci and his calamitous, costly career.

Never in the history of the public-health profession has anyone been so richly rewarded for doing so much harm to the public’s health.

Fauci violated the fundamental principles of science, but got away it by deploying the skills honed during five decades in Washington: bureaucratic infighting, media manipulation and fearmongering.

No, it started in some unknown animal they still haven't and never will identify.  Meanwhile the local lab has it in abundance, but it's a conspiracy theory to think it came from there.

The media also ignores, likely because the median age of its "reporters" is 22, that the insidious monkeypox was found in a lab, and AIDS, and nearly every single respiratory virus pandemic since the 1950s has not been conclusively traced to a natural ignition point. MERS? Nope.  SARS?  Don't know.

It's always "we don't know" or "we don't know how that virus jumped from chimpanzees, etc.  Yet, COVID *must* be from nature.  It must, *****!

The US is ultimately to blame for COVID when it's all said and done, and it's probably greasier than that.  The US cleverly steered money to the Chinese to do the research to get around the US stateside ban on GOF.   The Chinese don't work on it without the money.

I’m confused. I’ve seen Fauci testify in front of congress already. Did I dream that?

Fauci testified that biological research at Wuhan funded by NIH that sought to enhance the ability of animal originated coronavirus to infect humans does not meet the definition of "gain of function" research.  And its a mere coincidence that ground zero for the virus was located near the Wuhan research facility.

And if you attack him you attack science.  I am science, he proclaimed!

So Fauci is correct here. However, when talking about the flu and the vaccine it is indeed important for elderly and immunocompromised to get vaccinated, because natural infection and the stronger immune response it generates against currently curculating strains won't help you if you're dead.

Covid19 is also a respiratory virus that mutates and escapes immunity rapidly.  Therefore any virolgist , immunologist or infectious disease MD could have told you when the vaccines were rolled out in December 2020 that if the same formulation was going to be in place over a year later, then the vaccine would not be expected  to provide much protection against infection.

There's a reason why the flu vaccine is re-formulated for every flu season.
