Now you're talking about the risk.  Earlier it was being able to eat.  Which is it?

Why would I go on unemployment?  I make good money by working.

UI Insurance?

Yeah, you pay into it. It comes out of your paycheck. They don’t take it out of yours?

This will help.

WITH GAS SHORTAGES APPEARING DUE TO PIPELINE SHUTDOWNS,

Gretchen Whitmer shuts down another pipeline.

This is what they want.

$4 - $5 a gallon gas.

By July 4, you might be able to have a BBQ with 3 friends.

But I guarantee you will be looking at $4 a gallon gas.

By Labor Day it will be $5.

Jimmy Carter V2.0.  As long as Sleepy Joe takes direction from "The Squad", welcome to disaster again.  What a mess.

Seems a frighteningly gleeful thread based on very little data from a single jobs report very early in an Administration...

but...

On the Ds, huh?

Why don't you tell everyone pandering to you and your complaining in your whiny thread here how much Covid relief was passed under the Trump Administration with a Republican Senate?

And yet... it's Biden who's fully responsible for what you're prematurely whining about???

Single jobs report?  How about inflation?

It’s not fully Biden’s “fault” but he’s in charge now so he has to take some ownership no?  Do you agree that we need to look to him?

Whatever happened to the “the buck stops here”?

You are all are so quick to blame Trump for the pandemic so logic would lead us to point some fingers at Biden?  The market is typically a leading indicator and the fear of inflation is affecting the market for now at least.

And of course Biden will get all the credit when the virus “disappears” and Trump, though he fast tracked the vaccine, will get none.

U.S. inflation soars in April to 13-year high, CPI shows, and reveals fresh stress on the economy

The numbers: Consumer prices rose sharply again in April and drove the rate of inflation to the highest level in nearly 13 years, signaling greater stress on the economy as businesses grapple with supply shortages that are raising the cost of many goods and services.

The rate of inflation over the past year jumped to 4.2% from 2.6% in the prior month — the highest level since 2008.
