I’m trying to imaging someone who has a lot of money and decided to invest it in a bunch of different promising projects or companies. Maybe a lot of them fail, but maybe some of them hit it big and make everyone a ton of money or achieve an important goal.

If one of these, let’s say “adventurous capitalists” really makes a big difference with a handful of companies that far outweighs their losses on others, should we celebrate their success or denigrate their misses?

Yep, the whole concept of venture capital.

Govt investments, to influence social and other behaviors should all be properly vetted, which should include feasibility of success. To a degree, you might be right. I think many have been far past reasonable degrees. I think we've had far too many situations of "investment" going to friends and political allies.

I completely agree. This is why I think we need to invest more in Inspectors General, whose jobs include preventing waste and corruption. Last I checked, for ever $1 we spend on IGs, we get up to $26 back in savings from waste.

Imagine thinking giving billions to illegal immigrants and Ukraine and Israel would give us a strong economy. These people need to have their heads examined

You better watch it.  You’ll get the Eric Adam’s treatment.  Dems don’t want that.  Need the bribes.  You’re f*cked.

“You should be for taking bribes or else the Dems will prosecute you for taking bribes like they did for Adams.”

Irv, the mess you’ve been looking for has been between your ears the whole time.

Not really. I left a mess on your mom’s face last night.

Oh buddy, just because you drew a face on the sock doesn’t make it a real person…

No. It was your Mom. She loved it.
