This is overwhelmingly due to the price of fuel. Effing OPEC!

What specifically did Biden do, that other presidents didn't do, to cause this to happen?  What part of Bidenomics is so unique?  If I'm not mistaken, trumps answer to how he would combat inflation was drill, drill, drill.  You wouldn't happen to know if trump has any other policies to combat inflation, would you?

Are you telling me McD’s price inflation is NOT overwhelmingly due to artificially inflated fuel prices? Make up your mind.

You are a reliable defender of a guy you claim to dislike. I am not a Trump fan or defender so I can’t help you there.

I imagine when Biden and his numerous mouthpieces were assuring us all that inflation was most certainly “transitory” you were buying in. When that changed to “Putin’s price hike”, I imagine you were buying in. When he claimed on CNN last night that inflation was running at 9% when he came into office did you buy in?

We agree to disagree on that.

No, he was lying, and I'm not a Biden supporter.  I'm forced to hope he wins.

I'm asking you what, that's unique to Bidenomics, caused all this inflation, iyo?  It's kind of hard to criticize someone if you don't even have an idea why something happened.

The 2 trillion American Recovery Act sent core inflation from around 2% to 10% over the course of a year. I realize the legislation has a name that can’t be argued with but my opinion is that any government intervention that increases core inflation 8% is not a winning proposition. Add in the falsely named Inflation Reduction Act at a cost of 390B to 1T.

Can you put any numbers to fuel prices being the overwhelming reason for inflation?

I don’t blame Biden specifically but inflation reached a 40 year high on his watch and the repeated claims of it being transitory, being branded as “Putin’s Price Hike”, and now “shrinkflation” is the issue are laughable. It’s as if this is all just happening to the guy as he stands by innocently and ineptly.

If you are happy with Biden’s stewardship of the American economy you are certainly in the minority but you at least have the out of blaming OPEC for it all.

I don't know how else to put this to you, so I'll try one more time.  The fuel prices effect ALL OTHER industries, so they're a multiplier.  When gas was $2/gallon, that was 3% of a families budget.  Now it's 6% right off the top, and that's JUST gasoline for the car.  Gas HAS gone up at a much higher rate than other things.  If gas has gone up 50%, then the things that would have gone up only 10% if gas prices remained steady, will go up by 20% instead.  Now consider that factors into EVERY other good we purchase.  If you still don't understand, then we'll just drop it.  You can also research this yourself a bit if you'd like.

Energy prices are a factor. Everyone knows that. I will trumpet your economic genius if you can provide any research at all that indicates, not that energy prices are a factor, but the overwhelming reason for inflation as you have claimed. Just because you say it over and over doesn’t make it true. There has to be some meaningful data out there that backs your claim. Right?

Corporate greed is not a lie.  Neither is the fact that artificially high fuel prices are causing inflation.  I know it's easy to just blame Biden, but you'd be better served to look at the real culprits

Geezus Christ.  It's called a market.  If people don't like the quality/size/price of the product (Snickers Bar) they don't have to buy it.

Laughable stuff all around we're seeing in these United States

Inflation when Dopey Biden takes office 1.5%.  Due to his and Third Term Obammy's idiotic fiscal actions shoots up to 9%.  People going hungry.  Gas prices average $2/gallon when Demented Biden takes office, then shoots up to $5/gallon.  People rejoice now when gas is $3.75/gallon.   What a ***** mess.

Tariffs to what end? Then they put more on us, we lose markets, prices rise and consumers have fewer choices.

Tariffs are crude measure and free trade works to improve the general prosperity of all.

Uh-oh. Certainly a conundrum for you.

The Inflation Reduction Act !!!  Doing……nothing.

But good news - inflation will be more like last year!  Love the word salad in that 3rd paragraph.

Here is Powell telling you you’re f…ed…..thanks Covidians!

Prices for all items are projected to show a 0.4% gain on the month, the same as in March, though the annual rate is expected to edge lower to 3.4%, compared to the 3.5% reading in the previous month. On the important core measure that excludes food and energy, the respective projections are 0.3%, lower than March's 0.4% gain, and 3.6%, which is down from 3.8%.

In remarks made Tuesday in Amsterdam, Fed Chair Jerome Powell expressed hope that inflation would decelerate through the year but acknowledged the slow progress and provided further direction that rates aren't likely to move anytime soon.

"I expect that inflation will move back down on a monthly basis to levels that were more like the lower readings we were having last year," he told attendees at a banking conference. "I would say my confidence in that is not as high as it was, having seen these readings in the first three months of the year. So we're just going to have to see where the inflation data fall out."

I always enjoy a bs "look how expensive cheap sh!t is" post.

I just went on a road trip. Pulled into a McDonalds to use the can.

20 McNuggets, $6. Three of us in the car. That's all we got. Six bucks.

Sure, but how much did you pay for gas TODAY? You have been very slack with your updates.

also - which one of you got shorted a nugget?

also, also - you should alert NBC News that the segment they had on two nights ago about fast food prices is BS. Can’t believe people are falling for it when you are all the proof anyone needs.
