Probably because he saw the other guy, who is 5 years older, not have his team draft a QB in the 1st round who couldn't possibly help the team and instead add pieces to help him win a SB.  And before you go off on the "he couldn't have done better on offense" thing, then stop demanding the Bills get a better TE.

Cmon Doc, you need to pay closer attention to what he tells you.  He’s already told everyone here several times that rookies can’t help a team win a SB.  😂

NE didn't draft any weapons for Brady in the 1st round in 2014, after losing the AFCC, but they still went on to end their 2 game conf losing streak....and win a SB.  In fact they didn't draft any weapons at all in 2015, 2016 (another QB though), 2017.  Nothing.  Yet in those seasons did Brady threaten to sit out?  Demand a trade?  No--he took them to 3 more SB and won 2.  Let's agree that Rodgers has a different approach to such "adversity".....

Josh could have done better on Offense.  Get him a decent TE and he easily scores 50 TDs in the air and is MVP.  Simple.

Are you trying to transition this into a Josh bash?  I can’t tell yet but is sort of looks that way.  I mean we know that Tommy is the awesomest ever.  Please leave Josh alone now that you’re done with Rodgers.  Please worship Tom by bashing Mahomes, Herbert, Dak, Unitas, Elway and Marino before any Bills.  Our poor little hearts can’t take it.

Are those the teams rumored?  That doesn't make much since with Herbert and Wilson already there.

I'd argue the Broncos roster is just as stacked as the Packers except at the QB position.  The problem is he'd be in the same division as the Chiefs.  The relationship is obviously broken and taking another team to the Super Bowl would pry be more satisfying to Rodgers than winning one with Green Bay (even if the odds aren't as good in Denver).

No, I was just making fun of NewEra's pretending not to know that everyone has been mentioning Denver as a leading trading partner with GB for Rodgers?

The problem with Denver (besides Elway) is that Shurmur is not LaFleur.  How far would Rodgers get with him before he starts to become "dissatisfied" with Shurmur's play calling.  Plus that Denver D gave up a ton of points last year.   Melvin Gordon isn't better than Aaron Jones, Jeudy/Patrick isn't better than Adams/Valdes-Scantling and Fant isn't better than Tonyan (rising star) at this point.

Whatever his beef is, you can't reasonably conclude that Rodgers wants out of GB because he sees a better chance of winning a ring in Denver.  Easily, his best bet is to stay in GB.

No Josh is my man--this is well documented.  Budding superstar. But  I was responding to Docs post.  You're just not very quick on the uptake (also copiously documented).

Keep banging that one cymbal--you're doing great.

The NFC basically has:

Rodgers

Brady

Wilson

and a bunch of guys who either are inconsistent or unproven, or proven to be mediocre at best.

If Rodgers wants to win 2-3 more Super Bowls the easiest path is in the NFC

My bad, I didn’t realize that Denver is the only team that can trade for him because that’s the team the media thinks makes the most sense.....🙄

You act is if the only thing AR cares about is winning a super bowl.  If all the rumors are true, it seems to be more than that.  We all know that he’s cocky enough to think that he’ll win a SB wherever he goes.....as long as his new teams communicates and includes him in their discussions with how to improve the roster.  The packers don’t....and that’s why he’s pissed by the info I’ve gathered.  Last I new, this back and forth had nothing to do with his chances of winning a SB in Denver.....until you moved the goal posts for the 13th time.  Swinging from tangent to tangent like Tarzan.

One draft pick caused all of this.  Jordan Love better be worth it.

No one said Denver is “the only team that can trade for him” with GB.  You spend a lot of time railing against straw men.

Info you’ve gathered?  Have you been involved in high level meetings?

But you may be right.  Maybe he doesn’t want to go to a team that is more likely to go to a SB this season than GB.  Maybe he doesn’t want to be on a team that put together a roster that has seen him go from 25, 26 TDs to 48–the 4th most in NFL history-and made him an MVP....

He just wants and needs to be handled in a more gentle and caring and comforting manner—screw all that other stuff.  Maybe he will find what he needs so badly—beyond personal accolades and SB wins....

Perhaps this could serve as a roadmap for the gruntling process

Rogers is disgruntled with the world. The guy is always in a bad mood. Verging on locker room cancer.

Strange.  He was very friendly in my two interactions with him.  Didn’t seem to be in a bad mood at all.

I’m very gruntled (happy, humorous) that Rodgers is disgruntled.  I had to look it up as I honestly have never used the term gruntled, nor even heard someone use it in a sentence.  I might today just to mess with people in a lighthearted way of course.

That guy is such a diva.  He p....s and moans about everything.  Why he even was upset about the Love pick was silly.  He was never real competition for him.  Love is a long term grooming project for a couple of years from now.

The most SB ready team without a QB is the Saints. I wonder if that would ever happen. I’m sure they want him out of the conference but I don’t see an afc team that is a QB away or has a better roster than GB.
