I never gave it much thought until now but the thing I appreciated about the jersey number restrictions is there was a certain degree of professionalism about it compared to college.  Like having to go from casual clothes in a lecture hall to a suit in an office. 

 

Then there's the sympathetic side of me who feel for people that shelved out $120 for a Lamb/Hopkins/Ramsey etc. jersey before last season.

The players wanted it, it’s as simple as that. It’s not going to have any significant impact on the game despite what Tommy Boy says. I don’t really care one way or the other but if you make me pick I’d say I like it.

I'm not sure I'd give that many college QB's credit.

 

Let's not forget that Bryce Petty learned how to read defensive fronts playing Madden while on the Jets roster.
