Clemfield2622 Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 (edited) Well, this is a weird story. Let's hope there was nothing crazy involved... https://www.tmz.com/2021/04/23/stefon-diggs-mercedes-benz-g-wagon-abandoned-miami-train-tracks/ Edited April 23, 2021 by Clemfield2622
YoloinOhio Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Was the car radio tuned into the Best of Wham channel on Sirius when they found it? 10
H2o Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Diggs says he wasn't in FL at the time and that he let a friend use it. The only story here is that the friend has likely f***** himself out of any future usage of Diggs' fleet. 7 1
BuffaloBob Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 These guys find it difficult to let go of the hangers on. I don't doubt that Diggs had nothing directly to do with the car being left there. But I do doubt that the idiot who he let drive it abandoned it because of a flat tire. 1

But the car was found on Sunday morning and as recently as 3 days ago Diggs has Instagram posts showing him somewhere with palm trees. Maybe he went down after it happened, who knows? Mr. WEO Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Who abandons a car waiting for a tow? This ain't lookin' right... 2 minutes ago, Clemfield2622 said: Far be it from me to call Diggs a liar. Solomon Grundy Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Honestly, looking at the scenario, I don’t think I would’ve sat there waiting for a tow truck either. That has victim written all over it. 1 1
BuffaloBill Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Weird story. Fortunately sounds like no issue for Diggs.
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Remember the 'Rockford Files' episode where Jimmy's mechanic was pawning himself off as Rockford? "Hello, ladies, I'm Stefon Diggs, NFL receiver...ya dig?"

How did they get paid, etc? if you have towing on your insurance or AAA that is exactly how it would work. Not that I dont believe there is probably some sheninagans that happened.
Richard Noggin Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 If you run into vehicle trouble whilst under the influence, you best abandon said vehicle and regroup. Everyone knows that. 5 4 1

ALLEN1QB Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Those vehicles are a repair nightmare just ask Scotty Kilmer. 1
BillsDude Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Nothing to see here. For high traffic area,, to save time--and money for gas--Diggs leaves his car hidden near train tracks, then hops on the caboose to his next destination. Sounds fine to me. 1
