Had many of those 79-81. Had a friend   that had retinitis pigmentosa and macular degeneration and lost almost all of his vision in his early 20s. Had to change his major from  geology to  social work. He's the one that turned us on to Dinkel Acker. He collected beer cans but could only see a sliver on the edge of his sight.  We got very good at spotting slight changes of the cans and printing  for  him when  we would go on beer runs with him.

Was going to UB in 1985. Had massive snow storm that shut down school.  Took a sled into Amherst and towed a Matt’s beer ball back to campus.
