@Beerball how many of you are old enough to remember these things? My best memory of a Beerball was some dude in the dorm having no tap deciding that if he stabbed a hole in the top of the thing it could be “poured” out. Knife was hammered into the top and beer exploded everywhere....  not exactly a brilliant move.

We used to bring them to the Bills games in the late 80's and park over by the old practice bubble.  At the end of the game it was tradition that when it was empty we used to punt it on to the practice bubble.

We went through many of those things. The beer was drinkable and priced right. I liked their Maximus Super as well. Matts brewing now makes the Saranac line of beers.

Yup.  Loved them!  Worked at Tops in the mid 80’s and had many a Parking Lot Party with them!  Allegany and Bills games too!!

I'm 38.  Never drank from them but remember seeing them at block parties.  I remember them being a clear orangish color.  

 

Are they no longer available?  if so, some beer manufacturer should bring them back and capitalize on the nostalgia market.

55 cans of beer.  Just get a big cooler.  

 

@Beerball's are SOO obsolete.  

 

For only 400 bucks you can get a 65qt. YETI, it will hold your sammiches too and ice for 10 days... AND you'll  look super cool unlike those old ancient @Beerball's that just make you look like an alcoholic...

Earlier... Before my time, but I heard stories that you were allowed to bring small kegs into The Rockpile.  INTO the stadium. Now Rich, winter parka could easily conceal at least a 6-pack if not more...
