Aaron Donald facing assault charges for attacking a guy in Pittsburgh [Update: mistake, apology issued]

"Victim" eye looks exactly like he took a left (check?) hook, bare fisted from a man with big hands... knuckles in orbital socket, or quite possibly from a thumb in not fully closed fist (typical of non-professional).

Thus rest of force directed at facial tissue prone to oblong cutting, as in a punch that came up and across vs landing square (which usually means night-night)

Note: not saying as MD but from experience/training. Further, not making judgement on "guilt".

The most memorable moments in my life happened after midnight.

Same here. Not to mention the many great times I had after midnight that I can’t remember!

This just seems odd... Donald, having to know that a fight was going to cost him millions, just decided to destroy some guy who was totally innocent and bumped into him accidently?

Given that both men were told to leave the club, there's probably a lot more to the story.

Well both of those are best conducted in settings other than a bar

To each their own

I’m guessing that there was alcohol or some other substances involved as well.

Obviously a serious situation and I will reserve judgment.

That being said: My very first thought off the top of my head was “this isn’t possible. Anyone who Aaron Donald wanted to assault is definitely not alive afterwards to file a suit.”

It's a personality trait.  Highly subjective personalities tend to believe that they can intuit snap judgments and have no concern for a lack of facts or evidence.  At the opposite end of the spectrum, you have highly objective people who obsess over details and can't get to the conclusion part to save their lives.

As usual, it's always better in the middle, unless you are in a situation that benefits from snap judgments or an overabundance of caution.

Is this your best snap judgment of his snap judgment?...
