I don't have a subscription, but PFT referenced the article and focused on the recruitment of Emmanuel Sanders by Stefon Diggs. It is good to see him proactively trying to recruit talent to the 716.

Here is the Athletic link if anyone does have a subscription

Asked if he could see himself in Buffalo for a while, Diggs, who has three years left on his contract, said, “Define ‘a while,’ because hopefully it’s a long time.”

How about the rest of his career?

“That sounds better,” Diggs said. “Hopefully.”

The feeling is mutual.

Let’s hope the Bills add to the WR pool talent in the draft. Depending on who is available I could see the Bills taking one in the 2nd or 3rd round easily.

BRAVO, fellow poster! This is how threads referencing articles from The Athletic should look.

I think Diggs cares about his legacy .. and there is a VERY, VERY short list of HOF WRs who moved around teams a lot and one of the keys is having stellar quarterback play.

Diggs took part in a Q&A with youth football players as part of an event at the grand opening of Dick’s Sporting Goods House of Sport outside of Rochester, N.Y. It was Diggs’ first trip to suburban Rochester, where he would have taken part in Bills training camp last August if not for the pandemic.

“I’m definitely feeling the love,” Diggs said after the event. “I feel like my first (season), I didn’t get the full experience at all. I got cheated a little bit. But this time around, I feel like I’m getting to know the community and our people. They’re amazing, super nice, huge football fans.”

He's got his Geography down:

Quote

“People forget it’s still in New York,” Diggs said. “It’s the only team actually in New York, so people forget about that. But with any success, it comes with marketing or all of that, so anybody should be focusing on success first rather than where you are.”

On Sanders:

Quote

“When I started getting a little bit of wind of him thinking about coming out, I instantly hit him up and told him I would love to have another teammate like him,” Diggs said. “I had known him prior to that so it wasn’t like a brand-new person. But I told him, ‘We need you here.’ I definitely feel like he’ll be one of the weapons for Josh (Allen) and one of the guys that we can lean on in crunch time and times like that.”
