We used to just ignore those people.  Now the medias has amped them up, and we ended up with equally nutty people at the other end of the spectrum, who the media also amps up.  It would be great if Biden went to play shuffleboard as he should, and someone else stepped in, and made their campaign, 'Return America to the center'.

Biden ran as a moderate back in 2019-2020.  He sold his soul to the CBC to get their endorsement to win the election and then bowed to the far left because of Harris.

Problem is both sides haven't developed a bench and have nobody to turn to.  Personally I like Tulsi, but she's viewed by half the electorate as a Benedict Arnold.

The pickle we're in almost feels intentional.  Probably just an unintended consequence of the un-social media era, but I wonder if it was intentional.

Oh, it's intentional alright.  I would literally accept just about anyone who ran as a moderate.

The only far left policies that are really hurting him is immigration.  You're acting like all he did is attempt to get far left policies only, and that's not true at all.

I never said "only."  I said he bowed to the left.  And a leaky border has huge ramifications.

I'm glad we have people like this fellow to keep us safe from all those illegals

A white Nebraska man described as reclusive and confrontational shot and wounded seven neighbors who are Guatemalan immigrants, and investigators said they are not ruling out racist motives.

Police previously received a complaint from the family that Booth had made an obscene gesture and told them to go back to where they came from and “speak English,” Crete Police Chief Gary Young said Saturday. The family did not press charges, he said.

Investigators were trying to determine the motive and were not ruling out a racial motivation, he said.

“The context to ‘go home’ and ‘speak English’ lends itself to that,” the chief said.

Neighbors said Booth butted heads with white neighbors on his street, too.

“He hated everybody,” said Dave Hansen, whose home is next door to Booth’s.

Both sides have there violent people. Did you see 1/6? The jurors in the trump case have to remain anonymous, gee I wonder why? The jurors in the Biden trial were giving interviews on tv right after the verdict.

What stupidity is this? I saw 1/6 where a lot of the worst of my side showed up and did 1% of the damage that happened in EACH of the liberal cities of 2020. Just admit you don't ever thing for yourself- truly less embarrassing than comparing Jan. 6 to Seattle CHAZ.

No! ***** off!

The fiscal conservative party does not exist anymore either.  Once in a while one of them will throw out a sound byte, but that's it.  trump loves to spend too, so they keep their mouths shut.  Ever had a socialist check, borne of borrowed money, sent to you with a democratic president's name on it?

Sure, that’s the problem. Other countries don’t have issues with land acquisition, so we need a better system of buying land for rights of way. It’s absurd that Japan can built a rail line in 7 years while it takes us 15 years for just the environmental work!

The bullet train was running in Japan when I was stationed there in 1977.

I’m slowly accepting that if Trump is put back in office, there will be mass civil violence in the U.S. the likes of which we haven’t seen since the 1960s.

He simply cannot be allowed to take office again.

Sounds real democratic of you.  I know you love democracy.

Thank you for proving my point. You just equated running around with zip ties to murder and $2 billion in damage. The violent ones from Jan 6th should be in jail but to give someone jail time for simply going into the capitol is insane.

You have no point. I said there are bad people on both sides. End of story. I didn’t start a debate on which side is worse. They are both #######s. I’m not into violent protests. Hell I’m not into any kind of protest. I’ve never been to one nor do I ever want to be part of one, peaceful or not.

You want to split hairs have fun. Of course you are going to defend the white trash that stormed the capitol. Notice I didn’t defend the other side. All #######s.

To me what happened at the Capitol was worse only because that is supposed to be the seat of democracy for the whole world. a election was being certified, Congress men and the VP we’re running for their lives. That is my opinion. If you don’t like it keep scrolling.

You consider people wondering around the capitol as the same as people who set fires and doing 2 billion in damages, to me that is not splitting hairs, to any sane person those are not similar. I was appalled by what happen on Jan 6th especially after I had students tell me on Jan 5th that social media was promoting violence that day. The lack of prep by our federal government was unacceptable and should have lead to many people being fired.

I said both sides have bad people. Period. You want to get into splitting hairs. Point out where I said everyone of the 20,000 people (or whatever the number was) should have been charged? I’ll wait.

You think people who committed arson should not be charged? I doubt you stated who should be charged, but you called them all the same, and they are not similar.

I think it’s only now hitting on the Democratic brass how poor a presentation/debate Joe give last week as we are getting excuses now that his schedule before hand tired him out.

They are so full of crap though.  While it’s true just because someone debates well doesn’t mean they’d be good at the actual job…..  look how the Democrats demonized Gary Johnson in 2016 for not knowing where Aleppo was or naming a foreign policy leader he admired.

For a party all about “democracy” it seems very hypocritical now to me.

Where did I say that? Nice try. You make a lot of assumptions from my comment that there are bad people on both sides. I have had a few drama queen girl friends who argue like you.

You pretty much just described politics. Lies, hypocrisy etc. both sides do it.

Who do you think should be charged? Where is your line in the sand? You have worked real hard to act like they are the same type of protesters but seem unwilling to clarify.
