Again?  Funny because no one has answered my question other than it's racist the first time.  That would be great if they were able to specifically state what is racists.

I even wrote down each accusation by Stacey Abrams of it being racists and asked "how does this make it racist?"  I don't think I got any responses to that.

I'll read the lawsuit. When I have time. That article (which I'm not paying to read) is likely just that.  A report on the lawsuit not the actual text of the suit.

Well Chef, you should in fact read the lawsuit. It states very clearly that the voting law applies only to people of color and that white people are excluded from following these new voting procedures.

In most cases they are - many of the 240 voting sites that closed in Georgia had more of an impact on black people than white.

I had friends in town from Atlanta last weekend - we discussed the laws in Georgia - they waited in line for five hours to vote in Midtown Atlanta - FIVE HOURS to vote.  Disgraceful.

And all by GQP design...

Not that it should matter but my friends are a mixed married couple.

But why should ANYONE have to wait in line for FIVE hours to vote?

Nor does the text of the complaint necessarily have anything to do with facts, reality or anything approaching it.  Often it’s all about who can tell the best story.

Well I mean if they were white, under the new law, they could jump right to the front of the line and grab some snacks along the way.

So long lines discriminate?

Are these more due to geography or race?  (rhetorical question)

BTW there are alternatives to waiting in line wouldn't you agree?

How is the MLB boycott going? Demand for games is pretty high this season.

Don't bother because it is not true.

Here's the difference between you and me.

They don't have to.

They chose to.

End of story.

Lawsuits are a dime a dozen and oftentimes frivolous.

That's more of a DMV thing I think.

No he's talking about waiting in line at the polls....I assume.   But that is their choice.  I had to wait 5 minutes because I was too lazy to get another pen while my wife filled out her absentee ballot.

So you didn’t explain your position that certain demographics aren’t up to the task of obtaining ID? Seems like it would have come up.
