Right, but this isn't college. I think this just makes the NFL look elementary.

That's just my opinion, though. I'm sure people don't mind it.

I don’t know why the chiefs care about it, I’m just saying that some players carry over that mentality from college

Me either, man. I hate it to be honest.

The single digit #s are highly coveted in college

Exactly where they should stay (excluding QB's, kickers, and punters)

Yeah I got that now. Players switch positions so often that they often have to abandon their old number because it isn't allowed. I don't think it would bother me to see a LB with a single digit number but it might just be something to get used to. I'm normally for more player freedom, and I don't really see the harm.

Players that switch positions are not required to change numbers unless they change teams. (At least that is how it used to be, I think it is still this way?)

Also, I hate this idea. I’m a traditionalist. I still hate WR’s in teens and LB’s in 40’s.

I never understood why wr's and rb's couldn't wear single digits.

But wr's wearing 20-40's and rb's wearing 80's don't make no kinda sense.

WR and RBs wearing single digits is stupid too.   There was literally no good reason to change the rule.

Travis Henry would have applied for #420. It’s unclear whether that is his favorite day of the year, or the number of his children at this point....
