Expand Drafting a Wr when you have a good Wr unit is not the same as drafting a qb when you already have a franchise qb. Multiple WRs are needed on every offensive plays. Sometimes 5 WRs. You never need more than 1 qb on any given play. Our team, over the next 10+ years will be predicated on having a dominant passing offense. We have a couple aging vets and currently lack SPEED. Any WR that can get deep and/or be a threat to score every time he catches the ball would be a HUGE addition, whether you believe it or not. We need speed 3 4

WR is a waste of a pick this year. Only a team with a win in the next 2-3 years & not win now with the WRs we have would draft a WR. Utah John Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 As for drafting a guy with an injury in college, I have two words: Thurman Thomas. Unfortunately there are a lot of other guys who didn't pan out. As with many things, this is a crap shoot.
