Dialing the mental health hotline is my guess.

I think he called after he started that thread and has been on the phone with them since. That's why he hasn't responded to this one yet.. Still on Hold...😂

He came from the jets,    he killed us the  year before we traded for him

Seems like an insurance option in case a better option doesn't emerge in camp. Still think a draft pick is the likely returner especially given if they find a guy who serves as the field stretcher WR

Or the Bills are pivoting to a "punt catcher" now that the offense can hang 30 a game.

FWIW, Powell had not that dissimilar punt return stats to Andre Roberts last two years.....

-Roberts 29 returns for 286 yds, 9.9 yds/return (up from 8.0 yds/return 2019)

-Powell 17 returns for 152 yds, 8.9 yds/return (did not play in 2019)

Kick returns he's more similar to McKenzie, averaged 20.2 yds/return

Competition at every position, "nothing is given, everything is earned" I'd say.

Didn't we get Roberts from the Falcons too?

Negative, Andre Roberts signed as FA from the Jets.

So competition for KR/PR could theoretically include McKenzie, C.Wade, Breida, and Powell.

Bills might need to bring in another kicker and punter to keep Bass and Haack from wearing their legs out LOL

I believe this is a downgrade to our roster for kick returner. If it stands, this will be the first and only roster downgrade this offseason, thus far.

BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!!!!

Let's have 3 return guys on punts! KInda like a Monty Python Movie. We can call it the Monty Python return special!

Poyer seems really good at that already.

Hyde, you mean?

This singing smells of Beane dotting i's and crossing t's to make sure he has camp competition for McKenzie KR/PR.

I think in a perfect world he doesn't make the team.
