I guess they believe in Tua enough to give him a couple seasons to prove he's "the guy". If he's not, they have extra 1sts the next few drafts as well.

Zach Wilson I'm thinking

Wilson probably goes 2nd to the Jets.  Probably Fields.

Exactly what someone who wanted to get maximum value back for Jimmy Garoppolo would say 😏

Great deal by the Dolphins. They're being operated really well (the Tua decision aside, which could be their downfall despite all the good stuff). I guess the 9ers see it as being late first rounders, which wouldn't make it so bad, but if they fall apart and have a bad year this season or next the Dolphins will be really nicely placed.

Even if they're late rounders they can package picks now if Tue doesn't improve and move up for a guy in the next two drafts

Hate this for us - NYJ and MIA absolutely loaded with 1st round picks.

The only good news is that both organizations have yet to prove they can use those picks to select players who are good at football.

Smart move by the Fins. It buys them another year or two with Tua to see if he is the guy. The risk though is if these future 1st rounders are not top-10 picks--then they've missed their chance on a legit franchise QB draft position.

I think this is for Trey Lance.  Has huge upside and they can start Jimmy G this year with Lance learning and taking over next year.

True, though I think for the first time in a long time that both franchises have the right guys in place (GM & coach).

Houston didn't do us any favors in 2020, knocking us out of the playoffs then setting up Miami's franchise for the next decade with that Tunsil trade.
