Yes it does.  That’s the basis for adult political discourse.

Do you want guns banned because you ounce got shot by someone who knows nothing about gun safety?

CRITICAL RACE THEORY IS OPPOSITE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT:

Writing in Quillette, Kenny Xu and Christian Watson decisively shut down the claim of Critical Race Theory proponents like the ABA that the ideology is the next logical development from the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s.

Quite the opposite, they argue for starters, because:

“The civil rights movement was based on a hopeful and optimistic vision of modern Americans turning the country’s ideals into reality.

CRT, on the other hand, presents a dystopian vision in which ubiquitous bigotry and oppression defines America’s national soul.

Far from being heir to the civil rights legacy, Critical Race Theory is in many ways its opposite.”

Definitely worth a close read.

Critical Race Theory is poison.

Period, the end.

And the people pushing it are some of the worst, especially white male boomers shaming people of color for NOT supporting it. This guy actually claimed they couldn’t think for themselves even.

Perhaps he was trying to prove his own racism?

Not surprising...white Progressives have always had a history of thinking blacks to be inferior- from Woodrow Wilson to Margaret Sanger (founder of Planned Parenthood), and LBJ to Joe Biden...

Yep- institutional condescension or idealogical elitism, depending whether you’re describing how they see themselves vs how they view others.

Quillette is "a site that fancies itself intellectually contrarian but mostly publishes right-wing talking points couched in grievance politics"

As usual, BillZtime tries (and fails) with the fake complaint about the site.....................It doesn't work anymore little man.

The actual authors of the piece were Kenny Xu and Christian Watson , they had a lot of interesting points to make, for those who read the article

Back to the thread............

Ackshually, defenders of CRT are saying the loud part out loud:

Critical Race Theory is inherently racist and makes no secret of it.

And any parent, white or otherwise, should have a problem with that.

"We demand to be able to try and make white kids hate themselves and feel personally responsible for things they didnt do."

The online magazine of the “intellectual dark web” is repackaging discredited race science.

By the by,

for those of you who are curious, BillZtime is getting this description from the "notoriously fair" Daily Beast"...............😂

Quote

In an article for The Daily Beast, writer Alex Leo described Quillette as "a site that fancies itself intellectually contrarian but mostly publishes right-wing talking points couched in grievance politics".[25]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quillette

Rather than read an article criticizing Critical Race Theory by two people of color,

He would rather share Wikipedia quotes with you.

Shallow.

Why does learning all about our history make you so uncomfortable?

Just as I thought. Way easier to blame everything on racism. Let’s just skip over the last fifty years of well intentioned social programs.

Just as I thought... you want to white wash OUR history because you're uncomfortable with YOUR history.

Not MY history ...but I see you conveniently moved right back into your pathetic fetal position of blaming others for your sorry and sad lot in life.
