glazeduck Posted March 27, 2021 Author Posted March 27, 2021 Some interesting pro day results: Daviyon Nixon, DL Height: 6’3″ Weight: 313 lbs Forty-Yard Dash: 4.9 Seconds Vertical Jump: 28.5″ Broad Jump: 8’10” Three-Cone Drill: 7.68 Seconds Twenty-Yard Shuttle: 4.7 Seconds I'd be very okay with him being our 1T pick Ihmir Smith-Marsette, WR Height: 6’1″ Weight: 181 lbs Forty-Yard Dash: 4.43 Seconds Vertical Jump: 37″ Broad Jump: 10’4″ Three-Cone Drill: 7 Seconds Twenty-Yard Shuttle: 4.2 Seconds Bench Press: 10 Reps at 225 lbs Not mind-blowing numbers but plenty good enough. Looks faster in pads than 4.43. Ernest Jones, LB Height: 6’1.5″ Weight: 230 lbs Forty-Yard Dash: 4.72 Seconds Vertical Jump: 38.5″ Broad Jump: 10’6″ Three-Cone Drill: 7.35 Seconds Twenty-Yard Shuttle: 4.30 Seconds Bench Press: 19 Reps at 225 lbs I like this guy more and more. Tape shows up, explosion apparent in testing. I'm guessing this is a guy that teams are higher on than the draftnik community.
LyndonvilleBill Posted March 27, 2021 Posted March 27, 2021 I'll add Alim McNeill DT. Little short at 6'2 but is 320. Has some upside in the pass rush. May be good to rotate with Star this year and possibly replace him next season. Not tech savvy, so hope the link works..🤔 https://youtu.be/eRshNqa-KEU 2

My original list focuses more on later round guys, I think McNeil is a 2 or a 3, but certainly he’s not getting talked about enough...

Looks like a faster version os Singletary

Not sure if he will last to 61, definitely not to 93. Maybe use a later round pick to move up a few spots from 61 to get him if needed. Not a fan of moving up, but I might here...🤔 1

I don’t think a backup 1T is a top 3 need, so I’m not sure if I’d even take him at 61, let alone move up for him. But yeah definitely like him as a player 1

But yeah definitely like him as a player I'm not thinking of him as a backup, but more of a rotational piece and replacement for Star next year. Honestly, I see anyone we draft this year as a rotational piece this year, other than CB or possibly OL. I just don't see any major holes. One can hope, but I am not sure a rookie is going to be better this year than what we already have.🤔 1

Not just teams, but fans. Don't get me wrong, I am all for winning now, but also planning for the future. One of the reasons why I really like what Beane did with FA. Truly allows for BPA and long term planning. 1

Had him in my early mocks before we re-signed Milano. Can cover RB's and TE's. Hard hitting LB and has experience in all 3 lb spots from what I've read. 1
Estro Posted March 31, 2021 Posted March 31, 2021 (edited) I like Michael Carter, RB, UNC a lot, moreso, than Etienne who I think is an overrated prospect. I think Tyson Campbell is a terrific CB prospect who excels in both man & zone. He'd be a slam dunk @ #30, but I actually don't think he'll be there. Lastly, Amari Rodgers. Love him, reminds me of Deebo Samuel, who I remember the Bills being keen on. #30 is a little early for him but I'm not sure he makes it to #61. That's why I'm rooting for a trade down 10-20 spots so we end up with 4 picks in the top 94. Edited March 31, 2021 by Estro
