  The Big10 should have gotten all their teams into the tournament, that's how good they really are. So much better than the rest of the country, they're in a league of their own.😝

I didn't even do bracket this year. I prefer the slow burn of losing my money one game at a time.

Between Covid and Xavier missing the tournament for the 3rd straight year for the first time since I left there in ‘82, I didn’t even fill out as bracket. Unheard of! In Xavier’s defense, they went an entire month and were only able to practice twice due to outbreaks. Hard to take the results too seriously. 

 

Oh well, we’re in good company with Duke, UK, etc......

Definitely a strange year. Still doesn't feel the same. I've been going out with friends the last 10 years or so for the first Friday of the tournament, but that tradition has been on hiatus for the last 2 years.

I had a feeling the Big 10 was overhyped. There is always a conference that is inflated every year. Illinois and Michigan though are still probably going to make deep runs.

my theory on the Big 10 being overhyped looks to be true. 
 

Every time there is a “super” conference, the seeds for that conference get way inflated. They just play each other and then the stats become “incestuous.” I think they have some good teams— but to have two 1 seeds, two 2 seeds, and a 4 seed, in addition to the other teams that made it— they were bound to be overhyped.
