HappyDays Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 This flew under the radar today but it feels important: What are we thinking the numbers will look like? 4
GunnerBill Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 More than Dak, less than Pat. Longer than the norm but shorter than Pat. $295m over 7 years. $42m AAV. 5 10 1

Inigo Montoya Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 (edited) The Bills need to give him $40ish a year for as many years as Josh will agree to. Each year the contract will become a bigger bargain as the cap goes up and up and takes QB salaries upwards with it. Getting the most expensive piece of your roster on a long term bargain contract will be a huge competitive advantage for this franchise going forward. Edited March 18, 2021 by Inigo Montoya 5

ColoradoBills Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 By the way did anyone see McDermott's expression when Beane joked about Josh taking a 'Hometown" discount? It was priceless! He was like "don't say that to the press". 2

TV contract numbers are getting finalized. That’s the game changer IMO. Now both sides know what they’re working with and these deals can get done.
Ya Digg? Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Come on guys, Josh is a team player, he should be happy with $20 million a year...I mean, that’s what Brady did all those years, right? If Josh takes anything over $22 million he is selfish and it’s probably time to trade him! Added bonus, we now have his replacement on the team!!! 3
DJB Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 Are we sure that we should extend him? I'm not convinced that he's a decent QB yet. 1 2

A lot cheaper now that the Bills have Trubillsky (They called him Trubearsy in Chi Town) A starting point of at least 140m over 4 years with 100m guaranteed would be my estimate 1

TBBills Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 (edited) Wait a minute... I heard something like this before. I hope so, Josh Allen is honestly the best thing to happen to happen for this team. He is just as real as can be and that can be said for just about anyone you see on this team. The way these guys he plays with gravitate to him and speak of him is something you don't see often. Add in the competitiveness and work ethic... He deserves whatever he gets and I am 100% behind him. Edited March 18, 2021 by TBBills 1
