PrimeTime101 Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 It seems like we are keeping key players in key positions with a light duty FA and build with Depth in draft 1
MAJBobby Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 (edited) Smart. Let him and Dane battle it out for CB2 Edited March 17, 2021 by MAJBobby 1
TroutDog Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Rock solid human being and a good corner, albeit with lulls. Glad he is still with the team. 4
Mark92 Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Beane is doing exactly what he told us he would do. Draft and resign our own. Free Agents only when they fit the system and can improve what we have. 2

Miyagi-Do Karate Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Wallace gets unfairly maligned. Being the number 2 CB when no one throws near Tre, is probably one of the hardest jobs on the team. They also don’t often help him out with the coverage. He always plays hard and with good technique— just seems to be a step slow when he gets beat. For a #2 CB, we could do a lot worse. 4 2 1 2
The Jokeman Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 I'm hoping it was less than the tender, I don't mind him back but still want to improve CB2.
Ethan in Cleveland Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Excellent. One less hole. Now just find TE#2 and take a pause until the draft. If they find a TE#2 they can draft 4 defenders, a RB, and and OT in the draft.
MAJBobby Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Also this means the yearly hit likely lower than 2.1M. Otherwise they would have just tendered his RFA offer
SoCal Deek Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 With everyone back it looks like Beane is going to pass on the Draft this year. When the Commissioner asks the Bills table is gonna say “we’re good”....and the commish will reply “yes, you are”! 😉 2

Wallace was a UDFA not a draft pick. So only the Milano signing really fits your statement.

In saying that, I still hope the bills can find an upgrade over Levi. Draft a CB day one or 2 and hope he takes the reigns. While Levi is a serviceable player and plays hard, he’s still a mediocre CB2 IMO.
