Reported that several teams are still interested in trading for Watson:

This Bills fan feels bad for Texans fans. Can NOTHING go right for them? The Franchise QB wants out, but you can only trade him for a bag of used balls compared to what he’s really worth as a top QB on an open market. The Texans are going full Billsy!

He’s clearly gonna claim it was consensual. I’m not sure there’s enough evidence to file criminal charges.  Given the similarity of the accounts of the accusers and the sheer number of accusers, he’s gonna have a tough time in a civil trial.  He’ll end up apologizing, paying these women large sums of money, and probably suspended by the NFL for a year at least.

Hookers and Escorts. They understand it's a business. 😉😁

Stay away from Instagram models and bar girls.

This guy pays for it!

Well said, stranger.

Not saying I do 🙂, but if you have money I don't understand why these athletes continue to seek out IG girls.

Instagram model seems to have worked out ok for Poyer.

But I think I understand what you mean.  Discrete professionals who get paid well for services they agree to provide would seem like the better way to go for these guys

And what’s the settlement per person going to be?   I’d bet $500k minimum and we are at 24.  so right now $12m plus legal of 4-5M.    He’s not settling because maybe there is another 24 out there.  Financial ruin and no career.

i think you’re overestimating a bit. Financial ruin? Lol no. Not for Watson and his contract.

edit: and it’s not 24 claims, it’s 14 (currently.)

I feel bad for texan fans because the owner is a complete dunce and got conned by a dime store evangelical sure.

Ehh, I guess. I mean there's been times she's called him and other girls out in the public. These IG girls are attention seekers. Gorgeous, but some of them will air you out in front of the world if things go bad.

Were they IG girls or masseuses or something in between?  Either way, that's part of the kink here I would venture to guess.  Seems like he enjoys the whole ritual of pushing his luck to get a hand party under the pretense of massage.

If he wanted a sure thing, I'm sure he could arrange it yet here he is with 22 accusers and counting each sharing a similar tale of him suavely slipping away from the confines of his comedically small towel to gently brush his erect penis against her elbow or coquettishly nudging his buttocks at her unsuspecting hand.

While the case remains murky at best, one thing is certain: Deshaun enjoys his ass play.  His lawyers know it, the DA knows it, his teammates know it, and we know it.

Yeah. We don't personally know these athletes. Remember Darren Sharper? Pro Bowl safety. Clean image. Turned out to be a serial rapist.

I will say this.  From what little I know, mostly following athletes on Insta and a bit of contact with former athletes at parties and such, they tend to have "their guys" (or gals) who provide regular services.  Hunting down services and making arrangements consumes scarce time.  So they tend to find barbers and chefs and trainers and PTs and massage therapists they like, and then stick with them - going so far as to fly them in for haircuts if they change teams.  It's actually like most people do, but more so since most of us are more like $23 for a haircut (not $213 or $2113 plus a plane ticket and a taxi from the airport).

There was an article about Cog when he was in Buffalo, he had a woman come to his apartment regularly on Tuesday to give him a massage.  Now Cog was a known Pig with women, but I'd bet money he treated that woman with the utmost respect 100% of the time, because he wanted her continued services.

So to me, it's kinda weird that apparently Watson set up massages with so many different massage therapists.  Either he was extraordinarily picky and just couldn't find the right therapist, or they were each "One and Done" with doing business with him, which doesn't usually happen when there's nothing "off" taking place.

This times 1,000,000%.  I'm not a celebrity or rich, however for 10+ years before I got married, I frequented several massage parlors in the Atlanta area(I lived literally on the same street as Gold Spa and frequented them many times), as well as had "special" friends that I visited, quite often.  Let me assure you, it's ALL about the "regulars".  Once you find a place you like, that has the masseuses you like, that's who you're mainly going to go for.  You know them and are comfortable with them, and vice versa. And as your masseuse, you want someone who already knows your body, where your sore areas are, the spots that need a little extra TLC.  It's very poignant that many of the alleged victims statements mentioned that Watson kept having to tell them what areas to keep paying extra attention to. You want to have your regulars because they don't need to be told where those spots are....Every time you meet a new masseuse or friend, there's an air of uncertainty, uncomfortableness if you will, that goes along with meeting a complete stranger that's getting ready to know you in a very intimate way.  Just like Hap said, it's WAY too time consuming to meet a different one every single time!!  And heck, don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the variety of the business, having different ethnicities of masseuses/friends from time to time, but even then made them regulars.  Seeking out completely different masseuses for every encounter is HIGHLY suspect IMHO, and a definite red flag in my book.

I'm no lawyer, nor a detective so i can't speculate to Watson's guilt or innocence, but DAYUM it's looking worse and worse by the day!!  And I certainly get what Gunner was saying about advising your client not to say anything, but if I really didn't do any of the things these women are saying I did, I'm sorry, I would have to say something....

If these allegation are indeed true, what a disgusting POS of a person this guy is football player be damned

Very true. That’s if they are true...  16 Law suits and counting 24 accusers and counting And a clear pattern... And most likely criminal charges to follow.. There is a zero chance any team takes this guy on to be the face of their franchise ever...

Florio thinks Watson should settle all of these cases now. I have to agree with him for once. The number of accusers makes this clearly seem like a pattern and not a joint effort at a money-grab. Watson could very well end up facing criminal charges and incarceration.

Even if Watson still receives a suspension, it’s better than the alternative, which includes the reality of very expensive legal fees, the prospect of multiple verdicts against him, placement on paid leave by the league followed by a lengthy suspension, and potential incarceration.

Indeed, looming over the entire situation is the possibility that criminal charges will be filed. If Watson testifies in the civil lawsuits and invokes his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination, he’ll lose every one of them. If he testifies in the civil lawsuits and if it goes poorly, he’ll provide the prosecutor with a potential roadmap for criminal charges.

Thus, as distasteful as it may be to him to settle these claims, he needs to realize that it’s the only way out of this problem that entails a minimal legal fees, minimal disruption to his football career, minimal payouts to the plaintiffs (in comparison to the potential verdicts), and minimal chance of a conviction.

His attorney gave his statement to TMZ?

interesting that he doesn’t deny Watson had sex with the women. Only that he didn’t force them to have sex.

She did, but that was 3 years ago and to both their credits, they seem to have both grown up some.

But it might be like drafting Tom Brady - most of the time when you pick a QB in the 6th round, the best you can hope for is that it ends quietly.

More on the statement from the lawyer:

In addition, the tactic of refusing our requests to confidentially provide the names of the plaintiffs so we can fully investigate their claims makes uncovering the truth extremely difficult.

This seems weak sauce to me.  Since these are all apparently women Watson hired to provide massage services, shouldn't his lawyer already have names and the dates/locations?  How does the lawyer intend to "fully investigate their claims" that information from his client wouldn't enable?

But the million dollar question is how many girls?   If he has been doing this for four years (or longer) could easily be up to 40 plus women and I doubt the settlement amounts get less as they keep rolling in.

still do you take on a dude who just settled 40 (in this scenario) potential sexual assault cases?  Nope most likely. Plus i would assume there is an out and recoupment on the guaranteed cash for catastrophic damage to the franchise.
