thenorthremembers Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Good pickup. Says a lot about how they feel about Smokes health and ability.

Gosh some of y’all are just miserable Yeah, I would still draft one. I would also draft a slot guy because it’s pretty unlikely that Beasley makes it through a whole season with the hits he takes each game. 2 1

Teddy KGB Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Love it. Solid player even if he is long in the tooth. 1 1 2
TheBeaneBandit Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 I don't know how much speed he has left, but I remember him beating press coverage much better than Brown. 1
YoloinOhio Posted March 16, 2021 Author Posted March 16, 2021 Beane actually tried to trade for him last year at the same time as Diggs. he 1
ngbills Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 (edited) I think this will be more $ than people think. This FO wanted him last year. They tend to have their favorites and go after them. I am betting $5-6M+ per. Fits a need though, but not my first choice. Now DE, TE, DT, CB... Edited March 16, 2021 by ngbills 1 2 1
Process Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Mehhh. He's 33 yo. I think we should have waited to see what happens with all these good wideouts that have yet to sign. A guy like Fuller may not end up getting any good long term offers and may have been willing to sign a one year deal. Why rush to sign a guy like Sanders with so many options still out there?? With that said, we needed a WR, and he's not a terrible option. I always thought he was a stud and underrated. But at 33 those days are behind him. 2

Gabriel Davis was a very promising rookie, but not ready to be a genuine WR2 in my eyes just yet. Im fine with Davis as the 2(more like the 3 with Beasley).. He showed he can ball, wth are u looking for with Davis?? But Sanders will add a nice element to the offense, something we lacked with Brown last year due to injury. 4 wide sets are gonna be crazy to cover! 2
whatdrought Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 (edited) He had 726 yards last year with a quarterback who couldn’t throw and 79 year old drew Brees throwing to him... Edited March 16, 2021 by whatdrought 5 5 1
42Knuck Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 My apologies guys, can someone give me the skinny on Emmanuel Sanders? Not familiar with him. Sounds like some really like him, other not so much. Thanks!

sven233 Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Not a big fan, but whatever...... As long as it is dirt cheap. I am big on trying to bring in Fuller depending on the price tag. Sanders really doesn't move the needle at all at this stage in his career. 1 1
