I can’t believe how terrible nfl contracts are reported. Most of this reported contracts weren’t ever come close to the amount they are reported.

and Tyrod is one of the best backups in the nfl.

They just want to be the first to get it out there.. accuracy is secondary...

Watson to Carolina?

I’d have to guess carolina is making a really big push.
They cleared a lot of cap, then didn’t really sign anyone yet.

Hahaha why is this guy still getting paid?  He’s awful

He's not awful, he's ultra-conservative.

And he has lost his past two gigs to injury, unfortunately. One of those wasn't his fault.

I know. It’s disingenuous though and fans just see the reported numbers and don’t realize all the bs contracts details and unreachable incentives.

$12.5 mil to TT and a post started by The Jokeman!

It just all kind of goes together!!

Lol valid, I wouldn't give him that kind of coin. I'm glad he's no longer a Bill as he just not a good QB.

I’d feel a million times better about the Bills if Allen got hurt if we had Tyrod instead of Barkley.

Yet if have Tyrod it means likely don't have a Daryl Williams, so give me Barkley.

That’s debatable

Not really. Check out who a lot of teams backups are (including ours) and then rank Tyrod. He’s clearly amongst the best backups qbs. He could definitely navigate a few wins if he was on our team.

Yeah of course not for the money but I think we are cheaping out on backup qb and it could come back to bite us.

If Allen got hurt I don’t care who’s our backups I would feel like 💩

It's not. He is a coveted backup and bridge QB around the league. That's why he has been traded for and signed to decent contracts. He is also a good team player and a respected teammate.

You certainly don't want him as your long term starter, but he would be a huge upgrade over Matt Barkley as a backup, in my opinion. He has won some games in this league and has a lot of starting experience.
