I can’t believe how terrible nfl contracts are reported. Most of this reported contracts weren’t ever come close to the amount they are reported.

and Tyrod is one of the best backups in the nfl.

They just want to be the first to get it out there.. accuracy is secondary...

I know. It’s disingenuous though and fans just see the reported numbers and don’t realize all the bs contracts details and unreachable incentives.

Not really. Check out who a lot of teams backups are (including ours) and then rank Tyrod. He’s clearly amongst the best backups qbs. He could definitely navigate a few wins if he was on our team.

I’d feel a million times better about the Bills if Allen got hurt if we had Tyrod instead of Barkley.

If Allen got hurt I don’t care who’s our backups I would feel like 💩

It's not. He is a coveted backup and bridge QB around the league. That's why he has been traded for and signed to decent contracts. He is also a good team player and a respected teammate.

You certainly don't want him as your long term starter, but he would be a huge upgrade over Matt Barkley as a backup, in my opinion. He has won some games in this league and has a lot of starting experience.
