The Jokeman Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 One year for $10million. Report: Bears to add Dalton on 1-year, $10M deal https://www.thescore.com/nfl/news/2135035
TBBills Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 (edited) Don't the Bears have to get under the cap by tomorrow? Edited March 16, 2021 by TBBills
glazeduck Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Call me crazy... But this has me thinking we might want to hold our cap space -- and maybe even make moves in the draft (trading back for future draft capital) -- to be a player for Allen Robinson and/or Khalil Mack at the trade deadline.

They just restructured both those dudes I think.
BillsFanForever19 Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Imagine your QB room being Nick Foles and Andy Dalton in 2021. Yikes. 3

I don't know the particulars of how their contracts would/wouldn't fit, I'm just a fan dreaming over here. That said, starting Andy Dalton in what is very clearly a must-win year is negligent at best...
Seasons1992 Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 This is what happens when your team is owned by a 97-year-old. 2
Southern_Bills Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Definitely wouldn't mind bringing Mack to his rightful spot in Buffalo. To help out with their cap space of course. 1

Dude, Fitz is way, way better at this point. Dalton is a good backup which makes him a franchise qb for the bears. If Jay Cutler is in considered for your best qb, you are extremely sad offensively. 10 minutes ago, BillsFanForever19 said: Imagine your QB room being Nick Foles and Andy Dalton in 2021. Yikes. I mean it’s a super bowl winner and a guy who made the playoffs a bunch of times. We had JP Losman and Kelly Holcomb.

If Miami didn’t bench him, they make the playoffs. And he took a crappy Jets to 10-6 which we ruined with the most pointless win ever. He’s been getting better. Devante Parker was huge bust until Fitz. He always elevates players.
