TheFunPolice Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 (edited) The Patriots play the Bucs in New England this year. Bill doesn't want to go into that game with his hands tied behind his back. Brady vs Belichick. Both will want that game BADLY, as it is likely a one time deal. Whoever wins has the "yeah but" over the other. Plus, Bill still has more rings (8) than Brady (7). So more rings, plus a win head to head, means Bill gets over on Tom. Edited March 16, 2021 by TheFunPolice

That’s exactly what happened to the Redskins. And that’s been a historically much more loyal fan base Well the Redskins were just flat out lying about their list if you recall. So not exactly the same thing. 1
ngbills Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 Beane created? Yeah right. Pats have owned us since most on this board have been alive. Got to win more than won year to say this kind of nonsense. Pats think they can win the division next year. They were 7-9 in a tank year and have added a ton of pieces. I still think we are the better team but would not be surprised to see us both at 10-3 battling for the division late in the year.

The Patriots have been triggered by the Bills & the success of TB in Tampa. The problem for NE is that their not good at this. They look like some day drinking random fan took over the controls of the NE Patriots. I’m happy but very surprised. The Patriots are in panic mode trying to keep up. They are making some bold moves and bringing in talent, if they get a QB they could be favorites again to win the divsion. Also they never been cheap they just spread the wealth around so they had good backups as well as good starters. Which helped them win a lot of games.. (helps when you have the GOAT at QB. Lol) And that you can cheat freely and no one ever questions it.
CNY315 Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 I knew something was off when he went and hugged McD after that week 16 punishment
Doc Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 It’s nice seeing the Cheaters needing to overpay for players, eh? 1

Without Brady, nobody wants to play there. Keep in mind that NE has been hated for years, not just a little bit of hatred, but deep boiling hatred and disgust. We Bills fans are not the only ones who hate them, but much of the NFL does as well. I could see 9 wins for them this year but I also think these big signings will hamstring them greatly in the future post Belichick. Think this is desperation on Belichick’s part. Brady leaves and wins a Super Bowl without him. Not even against a marginal team but against a formidable Kansas Chiefs team lead by Patrick Mahomes in dominant fashion. Belichick is now left with an okay team, a good team, not a great one and it looks like he may never win the division again, let alone the Super Bowl. These big free agent signings will screw them in the future. They had to overpay by 20-25% for just about every FA they signed. They are neither rebuilding nor contending, eventually their cap situation will implode and they’ll be left digging out of that hole for the next 3-4 years trying to get out of it. By that time they’ll have a culture of losing.

He’s reaching to try and make one last run imo. If wants to make one last run he should ask Bruce Arian if needs a cheating assistant.

MJS Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 They had a truck load of cap space they had to spend. They no longer have Brady so they can't get by with no talent on offense anymore. I'm not sure Bill Belichick is making decisions based on what the Bills have done. He is trying to build a competitive team. 1

NewEra Posted March 16, 2021 Posted March 16, 2021 If your Belichick....why wouldn’t you trade 5-6 1st rd picks for Watson? he’s not going to be around that long. He can trade assets that he won’t even be around long enough to use, to instantly become a super bowl contender. A year after being lit up by the world for coaching a crappy team and watching Brady win a SB without him. He’s furious and will do what it takes to get the last laugh. Watson could give him the last laugh. everyone, please pray Watson doesn’t become a Pat. I don’t need that stress in my life. meanwhile the nfc teams with good defenses are signing Fitzpatrick and Dalton. Sigh.
Paul Costa Posted March 17, 2021 Author Posted March 17, 2021 3 or 4 of the Patriots contracts are horrible. They way overpaid. Smith , Agohlar, and Bourne are brutal. Henry is a overpay too.
