But I do agree the money should be spent elsewhere. This ^ Roberts was the top KR in the league last year for anyone that returned 10+ kicks. He consistently gave the O good field position and only seemed to have made poor decisions a handful of times. Unfortunately we're getting to that point of our roster buildout where paying a KR top money isn't feasible.

No question Roberts gave us good FP a lot and was certainly reliable and trustworthy back there, but he's far from the only one who can offer that sort of safety net. 2
BillsFanForever19 Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 I don't like this. He consistently put us in good field position. I don't think it's as simple as everyone thinks to put someone back there and have the kind of Pro Bowl production he had. Here's hoping tho.

Was great having a threat to take it to the house for a change. Since McGee I believe. He's a good returner, but he never scored in two seasons with the Bills and he took it out of the end zone plenty of times when he shouldn't have. Still, he's better than average. The fact that it's a pretty unimportant position makes me not care so much, however. 2

YoloinOhio Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 That’s way too much $ for the Bills to match. He’s at the age where he’s going to take the cash, it’s his last deal most likely at age 33 Bills will need to find a returner 3

Special K Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 Demetric Felton May be an option in the draft as a KR, PR, WR, RB hybrid player?? 1

I guess the Colts playoff game wasn’t a game you re-watched. He was a good returner though, but his best days probably behind him. Good for him he’s getting one more payday.

Charles Romes Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 It’s ok if we can re-sign Isaiah. Otherwise it’s a disaster 1
NewEra Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 Thanks for a couple great years as a returner Andre. 2
H2o Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 It all makes sense now. We are keeping Lee Smith to return kicks next year. 3 1 1

I just can't see dedicating big money there anymore. He wasn't making big money though. Thought it was like 1.3$ per. Unless I'm mistaken, which is very possible.

natedogg Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 It's a bummer because he was very good for us in the years he was here. I would guess McKenzie will slide into the role now? He's underutilized on this team, in my opinion. 1
