Now that we really can’t spend big on FA’s anymore, we should really start getting in on this- Beane should try to only sign guys who have been released imo...

I would rather have a good player who will contribute this year than a late 3rd round pick in next years draft.  I know it may be controversial but if that stops them from signing someone I would be shocked.

Yup.  All a comp pick does is reward you with an end-of-3rd rounder at best for losing one of your best players.

Yup, no surprise considering it was for Brady.  Maybe they can use it to get a QB...

I wouldn't be shocked if the Patriots drafted Mac Jones with their top pick this year.

Brady was a comp pick himself! (As were Brian Dawkins, Hines Ward, Marques Colston, and La'Roi Glover, fwiw).

I hope they do.  Although some team may beat them to it.

The Pats Front office one of the most overrated groups in the history of sports. The only reason they were successful is they had Brady; didn’t sign him to a max deal; and then told FAs they could win a SB with Brady.
