junior Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 (edited) Had a $12M cap hit last year, so I know it's unlikely we look into him, but given that we're likely looking at guards this offseason, I figured I'd share. Edited March 10, 2021 by junior12thman92 2 1
Rc2catch Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 He’d be great if we had the extra money to spare. He’s probably still regarded good enough to get a higher end contract for his position. 1
WMDman Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 doubt we have the money for him but id love him on the team
thenorthremembers Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 A lot like Gabe Jackson in terms of stage of career. Guy was one of the best guards in the league a few years ago, has made a lot of money, and is still an above average starter. Two problems a team will have in courting these guys in free agency. A) They want to be paid like they still are top five players at their position based on legacy B) If you pay them what they are actually worth at this stage in their career you may get an unmotivated player at the end of their career. In the case of Zietler and Jackson, I'd rather the Bills just re-sign Feliciano. 1 1
Aussie Joe Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 Lots of Guards on the market... someone is going to come cheap... 4 1
KGun12TD Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 (edited) The Magic Beane will get the right players. We just need to sit back and watch the magic. Edited March 10, 2021 by KGun12TD 3
aristocrat Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 He’s been through a lot of losing seasons he might want to come here for a shot at winning. 2
billsfan89 Posted March 10, 2021 Posted March 10, 2021 More of a pass blocker than a run blocker. Wouldn't hate the move if Mongo wants too much. But probably will get a bigger contract offer than McBenae will like.
