Just when you thought the Democrat narrative on voter ID and other election-related laws Republicans support in various states couldn’t get more ridiculous and hyperbolic, along came White House press secretary at today’s briefing:

No claim is too over-the-top for Psaki and the Biden administration

‘Irony is dripping here’: Photo of Texas Dems aboard plane to DC during ‘flee-ibuster’ raises a LOT of questions

Here’s a picture of the Democrats en route to DC, and it’s a multi-leveled eye-roller:

Flying private and not following a federal mask mandate is the only way to virtue signal

Flying to DC to interrupt the Democratic process? Sounds like an insurrection to me. . .

So why is it not racist or suppression to require an ID to buy alcohol, tobacco, guns, prescriptions... or sign up for insurance, buy a car/house/boat/ATV, or own land, but when it comes to voting, thats where they draw the line... unless they are trying to steal elections. The only other option would be that people on the left think minorities are too dumb or ignorant to find a way to get an ID and find a voting place. They obviously think they have the ability to find all the other things listed above... just how racist are the democrats still?! The party of slavery, the party of the KKK, the party of segregation, the party of Jim Crow... they hold true to their colors!

All those things is why Democrats believe that everything is racist. Systematic racism.

The only way to stop racism, is to become communist.

To me voter ID is a thing for one reason and one reason only. More and more voting will be done online or via mail in.  It’s so much easier to verify via a number than a signature.  It’s as simple as that.

I think it’s a lot more than just that. No Id, no real control over the counting process, the ability to harvest votes out of thin air. It’s about staying in power. Always has been, always will be.
This is the biggest threat to the freedom of this country! I can’t emphasize that enough.

Requiring voter identification through picture ID along with ensuring that a voter casts a ballot one time in the district where they reside is almost universally standard procedure in almost every democratic country.

According to a Monmouth Poll, asking about photo ID requirements, 62% of Democrats, 87% of independents, and 91% of Republicans support the requirement.

I'm having a hard time correlating the need to identify yourself with the concept of voter restriction or voter suppression.

Sure. Ok.

But why are Republican states eliminating, restricting access and cutting back on different ways of voting that favor minorities and big city dwellers?

Why?

Why?

Can you be more specific? What exactly are they cutting back on that will hurt minorities?

In Which The Dems Practice The Anti-Hobgoblin Principle

Just making sure I’ve got this straight:

People in Cuba are risking imprisonment, and worse, for demonstrating against a Communist regime and demanding freedom and democracy in their elections.

Meanwhile, in Texas, duly elected representatives - who are required to show up for the jobs they ran for and were elected to do - boarded a privately chartered jet…

uc?id=19KB5goW7CzRLyYyo_TfqMITFkHnT28t9

in order to avoid a quorum for the vote on a Texas election bill that would – horrors! - ban drive-thru and 24 hour voting options and restrict the state’s voting-by-mail rules. They say that such restrictions would be discriminatory against black, brown and voters of many other colors. It’s worse than an absence of Kinkos.

Interesting to note that Democratic Senators in D.C. are busy attempting to eliminate the (legal, by Senate rules) filibuster – to prevent the minority GOP from stopping a vote on a federal democrat election bill. Democrats are great practitioners of the anti-hobgoblin principle.
