I've been trying to work the concept of hip fluidity (as mentioned in the Ezekiel scouting reports) into my regular conversations all day, as I'm sure everyone else has. I've had limited success. Anybody doing any better?

“Fluid hips”—Turns hips quickly for smooth change of direction, adjusting to

the ball in the air, and more.

I'll try to use it in a sentence.

The car drove off the cliff without stopping. After the crash mechanics found the car had been drained of all of its brake fluid. Hipster, junkie or priest we all have to keep our fluids topped off.

Try telling a female co-worker she has "fluid hips." See where that gets you.

My wife did not like the fluid hips acting. I"m working hard to improve it for next game.

When I Googled on "fluid hips" there are plenty of adult (x-rated) references to women having fluid hips. It's a VERY good thing. Those references would be best saved for a wife or girlfriend and not wasted on a female coworker. Where would it get you? First HR would confirm you said it and then security would escort you to the parking lot.

I've also seen many references in scouting reports to a term - "has a big bubble".

Anyone know what a "big bubble" is???

Yes, that would be the "power pack" or Buttocks region ;)

Well, we've all seen the term. But evidently none of us has any idea what a

"bubble" is...I know I don't. ;)

It's true believe it or not. Players with big round asses are valued more than guys with flat asses because they can distribute power with their lower body better.

Wasn't this what Chuck Dickerson used to refer to as a "double-axe-handle-wide ass"?

I believe so when refering to a lineman ;), although it's a little different than the "bubble"....
