Biden's Remarks on Police Reform Expose the Democrats' Lack of Solutions

By Nick Arama | May 25, 2022

I don’t know what Biden was looking at but the hundreds of BLM/Antifa riots didn’t unify anyone.

They caused billions in damage, with hundreds hurt and dozens killed. I’m sure the people in Kenosha who saw their city burn and the folks in Portland who watched their federal courthouse being attacked for more than 100 days straight weren’t feeling very unified by that either.

Indeed, what we saw was Democrats like House Speaker Nancy Pelosi referring to the BORTAC Border Patrol team that came in to help defend the courthouse as “stormtroopers.” She even falsely accused them of kidnapping protesters off the street. That was her response to attacks on the federal courthouse, day after day. Talk about an insurrection about which she didn’t care. The Democrats even embraced BLM at their August 2020 Democratic Convention which was a virtual event, even having a musical number dedicated to them.  Fiery, but “mostly peaceful” protests.

I mention that because it was a BORTAC CBP agent who went into the school and took out the Uvalde mass shooter, even getting wounded in the effort, as we reported.

ANALYSIS: TRUE. We Have Entered the Self-Pity Stage of the Biden Presidency.

There is a familiar gripe at the center of all of this ennui: that Democrats are actually getting things done, they just aren’t calibrating their messaging in a way that gets through to voters. This is typically aired over conversations about the economy: Democratic administrations, the data clearly shows, are better at managing the economy than Republican ones are—and yet voters still believe that the GOP is better for their pocketbook. And so the solution to this problem is obvious: more and better messaging, as quickly as possible.

There’s no doubt that Democrats are seeing a perplexing disconnect with the public: In one particularly daunting example, the onetime recipients of the now-expired expanded child tax credit have, according to polls, moved from supporting the Democrats to supporting Republicans—all despite the fact that no member of the GOP supported the expansion of the credit. But the carping over how the people are failing to truly see the distinction between the parties only underscores the self-pitying tone of the administration and its leader at the moment.

Real Americans prefer an economy with low inflation and increasing wages — like we had under the last American president, before the lockdowns — to an economy that practically requires child tax credits just to get by.

UPDATE: “The magnitude of Joe Biden’s failures is now so large that even Joe Biden is beginning to grasp it.

‘We’ll see you in court and we will win’: Gov. Kristi Noem has fierce fighting words for Biden

by Todd Jaquith

Gov. Kristi Noem has made it clear that she has no interest in playing nice with the Biden administration. South Dakota’s no-nonsense governor just tweeted a statement, with an accompanying video, that addresses Biden’s attempts to force the radical trans agenda on conservative states like her own. (Tweet/Video) “Joe Biden has threatened to take away children’s school lunch money to pursue his radical agenda,” she wrote. “He’s targeting states like ours that make it clear biological men do NOT belong in girls’ bathrooms and sports. If you act on this, Joe, we’ll see you in court and we will win.” Earlier this year, Noem signed SB 46,

This is the danger of States taking federal money to backfill their K12 school systems. It's been the plan all along. Get States dependent on federal funding for lunches, etc, and then start dictating the Education/Curriculum policies.

Joke has been a failure at everything.  It just goes to show you how far gone some people are if 32% approve of the job he's doing.

Biden’s press office plagued by negative coverage, messaging gaffes as media signals ‘honeymoon is over.’

The White House has been plagued in recent weeks with negative reports about President Biden’s press office coinciding with a series of messaging gaffes, and mainstream news organizations typically friendly to Biden have taken notice.

“It has been most interesting to see the establishment media try to adjust its coverage of the Biden administration. Mainstream media helped run cover for Biden in the 2020 campaign and for the early months of his administration,” DePauw University journalism professor Jeffrey McCall told Fox News Digital.

“But the media narrative that Biden was a unifier and that any national problems were just Trump leftovers just had to disintegrate in the face of cold reality,” McCall said. “Even the left-of-center media have had to grudgingly acknowledge that the Biden administration is struggling.”

If by “struggling” you mean “failing miserably,” then yes.
