BuffaloRebound Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 With McBeane saying we need more speed, maybe they plan on playing him closer to the Line of scrimmage. He’s not much smaller than Milano. Then you get Johnson or a high draft pick on the field to improve the team speed.
Eastport bills Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Great news. This player along with Poyer bring the physicality a veteran has to exhibit for the young players on the roster. A solid leader who wants to win and is not obsessed with personal stats.
BillsDude Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Finally, some Buffalo signing news! Let's keep this rollin' Beane. No stopping now! Or else I will keep searching for crazy exciting other news in the NFL like Watt soaking in a frozen hole in a pond, or searching for more of Bakers' UFO sightings.

Prospector Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 Why have mods if they HIDE from combining similar topics about Hyde? just kidding... but kudo's to the 2 OPs that posted the Hyde threads in less than a minute of each other! 1
BuffaloRebound Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 He was due $5.1m in 2021, so it’s 3 years $24.35m.
Process Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 (edited) Eh. Nice to have him locked up and not have to worry about a hole at S for another couple years. Definitely feels like we overpaid though. Edited March 5, 2021 by Process

I’m glad that we have he, tre and Poyer together for the next few years 1

Hyde and Poyer are one of the best safety tandems in the league. People thought Hyde was getting cut? That's wild. Didn't even enter my radar.

ghostwriter Posted March 5, 2021 Posted March 5, 2021 I thought Hyde lost a step. Still seems like a good player though, but the price is a bit steep.

Yeap, don't understand this at all. Just don't understand why we aren't looking to improve that position. It certainly wasn't a bright spot in 2020.
