Part if his lack of stats is due to the lack of trust from Josh.   He's actually open quite a bit.

Knox vs Smith in their first two seasons:

 

Jonnu Smith: 38 catches, 415 yards, 5 TDs

 

Dawson Knox: 52 catches, 676 yards, 5 TDs

This may be true but Smith was also playing behind Delaine Walker for the better part of his first two years.   Walker was a Pro Bowler in both those years.  Knox was pretty much the #1 Tight End.

Jonnu Smith is the better choice. Rudolph is on the other side of the mountain and misses games. We need availability.

He would add so much to this team. I think with Allen as his QB, he really could dominate and have a career year here. He is a great fit for this offense.

Based on his comments about his former salary with the Vikes, I would say Rudolph will follow the money.
